The paper reported that Michael Flynn, a retired three-star general who was among senior White House staff members sworn in on Sunday, has come under investigation as part of a counterintelligence examination of communications between Russian government members and Trump's inner circle. Inquiry findings and whether it was still underway remained unclear, The Journal said. Flynn has raised eyebrows for receiving payment from the Russian broadcaster RT to join a gala celebration last year in Moscow, where he sat at a banquet table with President Vladimir Putin.
Business Insider
oh come onnnnnnnnn
Before anyone thinks this will lead somewhere:
Inquiry findings and whether it was still underway remained unclear, The Journal said.
So this is just a "maybe".
Speculatory rumor-based article. What happened to waiting for facts before you ruin somebody's reputation?
Speculatory rumor-based article. What happened to waiting for facts before you ruin somebody's reputation?
Just like trump did with Obama and his birth certificate?
Speculatory rumor-based article. What happened to waiting for facts before you ruin somebody's reputation?
You can't ruin someone who already has a terrible reputation.
Just like trump did with Obama and his birth certificate?
It's not like Trump started and kept going the birther movement on his own.
It's not like Trump started and kept going the birther movement on his own.
Obama started the Russia rumour on his own?
Lol this whole election cycle would make the most cliche Hollywood movie of all time.
It's not like Trump started and kept going the birther movement on his own.
Did you know Ted Cruz's dad helped kill JFK?
Flynn has a terrible reputation in the pentagon, there's a reason he was forced to retire a year early
I'm actually not sure if you guys are jumping in as a joke or you thought I was being sarcastic, but It's pretty ridiculous to imply Trump singlehandedly ruined Obama's reputation with the birther movement :v:?

Personally I'm more concerned over the fact that he's a former general more than that he's a Trump adviser
Nope, newrly 20k favorites and retweets, not influential at all.
You strawman'd me tho, if anything 20k faves and retweets only goes to show that Trump was not even close to the foremost birthers of the 2012 election cycle such as Newt Gingrich, Rush Limbaugh, or even the Iowa GOP whose positions are all consumed by sheer millions in the news. Again, what I'm saying is that Trump did not singlehandedly do this. It wouldn't even have been an actual movement were it not for the pandering politicians in the 2012 and 2008 elections!
Man these trump threads are as numerous as the north Korea threads every time they test some new missile

There was zero evidence backing up Trumps claim that Obama wasn't a US citizen or that Ted Cruz's father helped kill JFK. But there is evidence that this is being investigated.

I never meant to imply he single-handedly ruined his reputation. It was refuting another post regarding "research before ruining reputation". Trump was trusting a "credible source", not bothering to check it himself, when he tweeted that to his followers. [editline]23rd January 2017[/editline]
Man these trump threads are as numerous as the north Korea threads every time they test some new missile
Expect a lot. It's always gonna happen for any president's first 100 days.

Kudos to that.
FBI has swept the conversations, nothing illegal was found though. Gen. Michael T. Flynn — national security adviser to then-President-elect Trump — but has not found any evidence of wrongdoing or illicit ties to the Russian government, U.S. officials said. The calls were picked up as part of routine electronic surveillance of Russian officials and agents in the United States, which is one of the FBI’s responsibilities, according to the U.S. officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss counterintelligence operations. Nonetheless, the fact that communications by a senior member of Trump’s national security team have been under scrutiny points up the challenge facing the intelligence community as it continues its wide-ranging probe of Russian government influence in the U.S. election and whether there was any improper back-channel contacts between Moscow and Trump associates and acquaintances.

You can't ruin someone who already has a terrible reputation.
Its okay when we do it
Its okay when we do it
You said it, not me.
Just like trump did with Obama and his birth certificate?
He didn't start that. That was GOP conspiracy bull
He didn't start that. That was GOP conspiracy bull
Okay but he was a huge supporter of the birther retardation.
Face it, our federal government is now a generic Tom Clancy novel. We're fucked.
