My cousin's wanting me to build a computer for him. The problem is I'm not really sure in the terms of what motherboard can fit. Simply, is it possible to fit this motherboard http://www.mwave.com/mwave/skusearch_v3.asp?scriteria=BA61038&pagetitle=ASUS%20ITX-220%20Celeron%20220%20onboard%20M%20Intel%20945GC%20Mini%20ITX into this case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811156135 without any modding done to it?
that's a terrible case, why would you want to just use an mITX case, the point of mITX is it's small so why would you put it in a regular sized case

usualy full ATX cases have standoff holes for mITX boards
I'd convince him to change the case to be safe.
I'd convince him to change the case to be safe.
I'd rather convince him to change the motherboard
change the motherboard or check the case first
A larger mobo will be useful if you plan on upgrading later on, usually worth the money to upgrade.
A larger mobo will be useful if you plan on upgrading later on, usually worth the money to upgrade.
Yeah, buying a mobo with integrated 1.2ghz celeron is not really a good idea
You just used the 2 cheapest modules you could find? If you want to do any sort of gaming that motherboard is utter crap. And so is the case. Also i get the feeling that OP=the cousin
Combo M-ITX, with the worlds worst processor.
ITX fits on the same footprint as ATX and mATX, It uses the four holes close to the O/I plate. - I did it myself before I got an ITX case. So yes, It will.
Let me be honest with you. That mobo + cpu combo is only good for light browsing and usual "office" use and that's it. And a couple of games, like OpenTTD.
