Everything played by me. Tried some new mixing tehniques and all the instruments fit more snuggly over eachother without any of them being too overpowering. Gotta love the Piezo mics on my guitar. Comments are very much appreciated!
0:22 First impressions, I love the way the video's presented with the editing. The guitars sound great and you've got the rythmn and timing perfect. [editline]18th September 2011[/editline] I don't like the 3rd guitar part that's playing the melody. It sounds (in my opinion) too chorus-y. [editline]18th September 2011[/editline] At 2:30 are you using the bridge pickup for the top-left guitar? The treble could be a little lower. I can't fault it any further, was a good listen. :)
With Cypher_09 on this one- very nice, but the 3rd guitar is a bit eh...
Thanks guys! I thought the effect for the melody was pretty close to the one in the original, but it might have sounded better if I had used the piezo pickups on that part too.
Really enjoyed it :D
What are you using to record the bass? It lacks low end.
The bass doesn't really have that 'Bass' feel to it. Other than that, I like it.
What are you using to record the bass? It lacks low end.
I have it plugged to my mic hub. I don't have a bass cabinet or an effect pedal so that's all I can do now.
The overdriven lead should either be turned down or you should remove the notes in between if you get me, just make them longer so it doesn't cut through as much. Good otherwise!
Enjoyed cameo appearance of cat at 1:15
