• Massive Storm in Chicagoland area

There was just a massive hailstorm in Park Ridge, a northwest suburb of Chicago. It started thunder storming around 7 o'clock. I had to go pick up my dog from the groomer and needless to say, she was not happy on the ride back. I was just browsing Facepunch when I heard some small taps on the window. I looked outside to see what it was, and all of a sudden a massive deluge of hail started banging on the window. The hail balls were as large as gum balls, and they were falling so thickly, that it was hard to see 10 feet out the window. I jumped away from the window fearing that it would shatter, and my mom and dog came running down, scared out of their wits. The storm lasted only about a minute though, and luckily no windows were broken. I know that there are a few Chicago Facepunchers out there, did any of you see this? P.S. If this belongs in Fast Threads, I'm sorry. P.P.S. I left a secret in the post icon.
Oh boy oh boy oh boy. Whatever hits you guys usually hits me (Cleveland, Ohio). Can't wait!
I'm up in wisconsin, and the storm is pretty weak here.
I'm in plainfield oh shit oh shit oh shit
Very funny post icon, OP.
Shit that would suck to get a hail storm. I would be pissed if my car got fucked from a hail storm.
Aww, I wish I was back home in the Chicago area. Instead I'm off at school in Michigan. I love a good storm.
Yea... I had a bit of this. It was fantastic. I love just listening to the hail and rain tap away on the roof. 90% of the reason I love rain.
It seemed to have just missed us. I'm disappointed..

Grand Rapids, MI We're getting some pretty damn loud thunder. Just had some thunder, that seemed to roll for about 20 seconds O.o Raining a good amount here now.
I'm too far away from where the storm happened (I'm off in the suburbs, Naperville specifically), but my friend's windshield got completely destroyed because he lives up there.

Fuck yeah, I'm so glad I'm not stationed in great lakes anymore. Even worse I'm in San Diego now where we get earthquakes, that scared the shit out of me Sunday, never been in one before.

Jeffersonville, Indiana here. Around the afternoon we had these weird-shaped storms suddenly popping up to the Northwest of us. I knew a tornado watch would be issued due to the shape of them. I was right. Fortunately we didn't get anything. the line that developed is now heading for the coast. Nothing like looking out your window and seeing nothing but a dark bluish-gray sky. Unfortunately, due to the warm front, I now feel like I'm roasting in my room due to it being 87*, according to my Atomic Clock.
Well I must have gotten the left overs in Dayton, Ohio because there was a small but powerful storm that went over our house. I think something nearby got struck by lightning, fucking loud as hell too.
Pussies. We had that same storm yesterday in Northwestern IL. [editline]12:11AM[/editline] Except without the hail. :v:
Yeah, how about you STOP making my power go out. Fuck you, Chicago.
