I recently bought myself a GTX570 and it's very noisy in comparison to my previous 4770. How do i turn down the fan?
EVGA Precision can help with that, and its not exclusive to EVGA cards it will work with any brand - http://www.evga.com/precision/ To download from the EVGA site you'll have to register and whatnot so you'll probably want to download it from MajorGeeks or something (http://majorgeeks.com/EVGA_Precision_d6209.html)

Is't EVGA Precision the "newer" Rivatuner? I read somewhere they use the same software just added Video support
The base is same. MSI Afterburner is also based on Rivatuner. Why did you bump?
MSI after burner, then set custom settings for the fan. The higher the temps the higher the speed. Although my 6970 is reving up a bit today on idle since its so hot
