I'm looking at buying a compact notebook for uni, looking to spend less than AUS$400.
I'm currently looking at the Asus Eee PC 1215P (Here), which is going for AUS$389
Anyone got any other suggestions? All it has to do really is run MS word, watch some films and play old games.
Nothing?
Running windows, that's probably your best bet.
Though being that low specced as it is, why not go for the cheapest netbook you can find?

The cheapest ones around in Australia are only $50 cheaper. This one has an extra 2 inches of screen for $50
Just be mindful of the battery and you're set.
