• Urban Warfare. Trug City Under Siege!

So, out of my free time, I reskinned, extended and built ontop of the map Fallen Angles and created Trug City, it took about a week and I've recently populated it. The general idea is to attack the city, leave not a single soul alive, or enslave them, what have you. Create as much destruction as you can while the Trug's attempt to defend their city. Replies will be slow, this is a long term thread. Anyone three people can jump in at a time and invade, the reason for this that all reinforcements and units must come from the right and go left on the map. The means by which you do this is entierly up to you, rafts on the water is enough to suffice if you have a entirely land based military. General Rules: * Save as a PNG. * Only thee players at a time, if your name is not on the OP, you're not allowed to post. * The OP (Me) holds Game Moderator. If you put little effort or make giant penis cannons, I have every right to remove you and skip your images. * No Weapons of Mass Destruction. Bombs, and convential explosives are entirely fair play however. * The Trug's may not spawn units, they can create vehicles but once a person dies there is no way for them to be replaced. * The players must only attack in waves. First declare you'll put all the units for your wave on the map and let them attack, whatever it is you plan to do. Once all units, (Or most) are destroyed, you can call in another wave. PM me for requests or questions regarding this. * No 2 second shit, turns will be few and far between, but they'll be decent atleast. * Use filesmelt or Cubeupload, the map MUST be in media tags due to it's size. Player List: * TY2D2 * Danratherman * Hick2 The Map: About Trug City and the Trug's: Trug City is the Capital of the Trug Republic. The home to more then half of the Trug Population, the Military Headquaters at Fort Trug and the Navy at the Trug Naval Station, it's also the location of the Trug Capital Building, Museum of Trug History and various other structures. Trug's live, work and die in this city as they manage their Republic. The Trug's themselves are only human. About the Trug Classes: Factory Workers: Obviously, found in factories the Factory Workers have the skills to construct vehicles and other items that most Trug's couldn't even grasp. There are only a handful of them as the Trug's have been at a peacetime production of military items. They're Defenseless. Workers: General Labor, these Trug's carry crates, fuel your car, clean your windshield and build a building once in a long while. They're defenseless. Naval Personnel Sailors and Seamen, these Trug's are few and far between as the Trug Maritime Navy is understaffed and funded. They normally operate Submarines, which is why they wear suits which allow them to survivor underwater in case of an emergency. They're able to operate Sub's and carry a sidearm, I guess these guy's aren't as defenseless as the others. The Trug City Metropolitan Police Department: These Trug's are assigned to domestic defense, these range from the office worker going postal to handing out tickets and guarding low priority structures or people. They have a Police Station in the Residential area of Trug City and a Police Helicopter, or VTOL. They have sidearms, Shotguns and submachine guns however the later are only in event of emergency. Not defenseless in any regard. Medical Personnel: Civilian Doctors and Nurses, they tend to never leave the Hospital but can heal Trug's. Defenseless. Trug City Fire Department: The TCFD is responsible for Search and Rescue, Fire Control, the whole 9 yards. Defenseless. Civilians: The white collar folk of Trug City, their jobs range from being a Code Monkey for an office complex to, well that's mostly it. They're completely defenseless, but have been known to form Milita's in times of National Crisis, this however is rare and they're often weak and unorganized. The Politcal Elite: They're basically Civilians, however they're also the government body for the Trug's. They're in charged of setting budgets, arranging laws, managing and deploying the Trug Defense Force. They mostly hang around the Trug Capital Building pretending to be big shots. The Trug Ground Defense Force (TDF): The Trug Defense Force is the main military branch of the Trug Republic, they handle all matters relating to offensive action and national defense. They're well trained and equiped, being in peace for such a long time, the garrison of soldiers isn't what it used to be, and most, if not all vehicles are in storage. They mainly are stationed at Fort Trug. The TDF have a variety of weapons, handheld such as Assault Rifles, Shotguns, Flame Throwers, Grenade Launchers, to vehicles ranging from Artillery, Helicopters, Walkers, Tanks and more. There are the average Grunts, in green then the men in black which are the Trug Special Forces, a bit more tougher and well trained then the average military. Obviously, not defenseless.
I'm in for Nazi invasion force.
I would do this, but my sprite sheet is terribly small. All I have is tiny drones.
TY2D2, you're good then. Funny, let me see your sprites and we'll give it a shot if they atleast look alright.
Alrighty. I am not declaring yet, as I have a few specialized sprites I need to finish but I will soon. Hopefully I get some worthy allies. [editline]09:24PM[/editline] Nazis approach with an attack boat, and immediately fire off a volley of rockets. An elite special ops team swims through the depths armed with SMGs and explosives.
Would this army be up to par? I'd like to take a shot at this.
Of course it is. I added you to the player list. Declare. [editline]11:12PM[/editline] Short post, basic shock and awe stuff. Also, amazing sprites TY2D2. * The Missiles streak into the night sky, the noise and commotion on the water alert the Workers and Naval Crew on the Sub. The Sailor climbs up and takes a look, the captain looks through the scope while workers stare in awe at, what they assume are fire works. * A Police Officer near the Oil Tanks hears the commotion as well and turns around to inspect the cause.
Uh, well I added the two walkers, but it's still pretty small. I have no explosive units, and the small drones aren't shaded.
Declare I suppose.
They're pretty good for a first attempt, I still haven't made any myself except reskinning things. But I rather not fight them, they seem awkward.
Declare. Now, as for the order of declaring... I propose each attacker can only go once inbetween a declare of CodeMonkey, thus we cannot stack turns inbetween your declares? [editline]10:21PM[/editline] Declare after Dan I guess :P Also, code I made the boat, JUST for killing trugs :] as well as the spec ops.
Yeah, sounds good. I'm going to declare after Dan. So, list goes: Dan Me TY2D2 So I won't be buttfucked as hard.
* A Valentian Dropship manned with several conscripts enters from the 'left' airspace, trajectory adjusted to land on the second from the left skyscraper's roof.
Everyone is supposed to enter from the right, but this is fine. Actually, scratch that. TY2D2 go, he didn't do anything anyone would notice as of yet.
Oh, sorry. :v: Didn't see the right to left clause. If you want I can just move it over.
Nah, it's fine. Otherwise the airspace and land on the right may become a clusterfuck of several different units and factions.
They're pretty good for a first attempt, I still haven't made any myself except reskinning things. But I rather not fight them, they seem awkward.
The walkers look okay on their own, but the drones are completely lackluster and unoriginal.
Also, why does your ship have no pilot, Dan?
I'm going to scrap what I have and make those the basic units, dropping their size a bit. [editline]11:32PM[/editline] Also, the second walker (laser one) is indeed awkward. I'll have it shoot bullets.
Ok... so my turn.

Took the liberty of moving the dropship over btw.
Sorry for the delay, explosions are a bitch. * The sailor is killed in the gunfire, he falls backwards onto the Sub, the Captain sees his dead shipmate and button downs the Submarine. * The missiles all hit their mark, both fuel tanks explode, the Station is hit and explodes as well, the fuel truck also is blown to bits, igniting the fuel line and causing a chain reaction, the Submarine's fuel hold explodes. * The Captain in the Submarine survivor the explosion and dones his hood, preparing to go down with the ship. * The Two workers that were fueling the submarine are caught in the Sub's explosion and killed instantly. * The Police Officer is temporarly blinded by the blasts, he hides behind a truck and draws his sidearm, shouting into his radio.
