There is only one way to do it
I honestly wouldn't have minded a good list of PC cleaning products, I kinda needed something for my monitor but I have no idea what to get.
I have no fucking clue how my monitors get so dirty. I never touch them, and they still somehow get large smudges on them.
i put my monitor in my dishwasher. does the trick
I have some LCD cleaner in my desk seems to do the trick, when a game has like a pure white scene and you just see every little smudge, it makes me feel like a lazy shit if I don't clean it.
50/50 isopropyl alcohol and distilled water with a lint free cloth.

You don't really want anything alcohol based if it's got any sort of ag film on it.

Its a good way to gear streaks though
Personally a microfiber cloth with distilled water is the best way. A little isopropynol works well if you got some tough shit caked onto it for some reason.

I heard about it on facebook. And facebook always has truthful

Water is easily far more than enough, why the alcohol
you don't have to sterilize the damn thing unless its a touch screen phone or keyboard.

I'd go with at best 10% alcohol and 90% distilled

Just hot distilled water and a microfiber cloth will get basically anything.
I just use the shit for wiping glass + same cloth. Works fine.

For a matte screen, it probably be fine. Any anti-glare surface will react poorly with anything with alcohol in it (line Windex). I remember cleaning my CRT screen with windex once, regretted it ever since. Now I clean it off with the electric bills it generates.
Does this also work for Apple products or do I have to buy a replacement product if there is some dust on the screen?

Glasses cleaner is fine if it's the shit without alcohol, which plenty are.
I use the classic spit and wipe.

You print out a PCGamer article and use that.

People use alcohol for the rapid drying rate. This can both be a good and bad thing depending on the environment.

alcohol can leave a residue behind causing streaking too depending on purity etc
I use alcohol to clean a lot of things, just not for monitors. When I clean my phone alcohol leaves streaks yet even tap water and soap works fine. (though, that is glass, and a water proof phone)

Alcohol is safer on electronics because its less likely to have conductive solutes and the evaporation rate is desirable as a safety measure. Alcohol can dissolve some plastics though so caution in that regard is required.
I generally use:

Just buy the stuff with the Apple logo on it.
unless you are constantly cumming all over your monitor, a teeny bit of soap and water will go a long way

Know this from personal experience, eh? :speedfap:

Wtf don't use windex. A lot of screens have coatings that windex will mess up.
Here's how to clean a PC monitor: read the manual. Unless you have some weird korean monitor you can just google your monitor to find it
I use this:

I run a cloth under water, rinse it so its damp then rub over it, then a towel to dry it.
