GV SMS Extension - Send and receive Google Voice SMS via default SMS app

I'm a texting whore; and when my company saw that I'd sent/received over 7k texts via my company phone, they asked me to cut back. I took that to mean I should stop texting completely, and not wanting to have to purchase a personal phone and sign a contract again, I decided to use Google Voice.
Any of you who have experimented with GV on the iPhone probably know that the GV app is absolutely terrible; it's awkward, slow, the buttons are placed in poor locations and it often stops responding. I really just wanted to use the default SMS app with my GV number, so after a bit of digging I ran into this: SMS GV Extension.
If you have a jailbroken iPhone 3g, 3gs, or 4 you are able to use it, and pretty much all firmware versions are currently supported. The extension is $3 (well worth it for technically free texts if you're connected to wifi, which I always am at work) and is easily configurable.
A screenshot of me sending/receiving texts in airplane mode (the girlfriend was most impressed):

Give it a shot, it's pretty damn cool.
Yeah, I used to use it back in the day. Was an amazing extension. Google voice is also amazing.
It is really a life saver for some. I just can't wait for them to update it to work with iMessage on iOS 5.
Don't know if you guys already know, but there's also a phone one:
