anyways i am trying to host a server for me and my buddies. but i am having a problem with my router. it is a telus D-link DVA G3810BN. i can find the port forwarding in the router services. but when i set up the port they never work. is there someone who is familiar with this router and can help me?
hmmm... try restarting your computer, hope this helps.

Hmmm, for me and a lot of other people, I can't host a server on the same computer I play on, it simply doesn't work, however it works on other computers on my network fine. Try it on a different computer if you're currently using yours.
