Okey so I got this new computer, with a new graphics card and stuff.
After installing stuff I noticed that my sound did not work.
I have no idea what causes this, I have tried Microsoft FixIt etc.
My friend told me to find drivers, even though I have no idea how to do that :(
I'm using Windows XP Service Pack 3 32bit
Yes you need sound drivers, figure out what sound card you have or what audio drivers your motherboard requires.
If you're using the front connectors, connect to the back, you might not have connected the front panel audio correctly. If that's not the problem, post a screenshot of your speccy or tell us your motherboard model (or sound card model, if you bought a dedicated one) and we'll get back.

Also make sure it's in the right port, it should be the green one, or sometimes black if there's no green one.
Try clapping your hands. If you can't hear anything, you're probably deaf...
This is a preemptive "Sorry for your loss."
I have tried to plug it in on all my ports, with both my headseat and my speaker system.
Sending information via DxDiag.

No sound card was found. If one is expected, you should install a sound driver provided by the hardware manufacturer.

You don't have any sound drivers installed, thus Windows can't use your APU.
are you deaf?
I'm not deaf, and I'm currently using Everest to find some drivers.
Thanks for the help :)

Motherboard:
Motherboard Name Asus P5LD2-FM-DH-VP
I can't find any drivers...and I don't know any trusted sites for finding them either
Go to the asus website and find your motherboard model. They should have drivers for download there.
You could try sound drivers from Here
It's from official Asus website but can't find the exact model as it seems to be motherboard from prebuilt which use many times customized motherboards meant just for the prebuilt.
But i'd say there is high chance they got same built in soundcard so the drivers should work as they both have same chipset.
First off, I need Vista to install the latest update.
When I try to install it, it tells me to restart.
When I have restarted it tells me to install Microsoft Bus Driver, and then restarts again.
I install Microsoft Bus Driver, restart, try to reinstall the driver but then it tells me the exact same thing!

I thought this thread was dead, hehe.
Anywho.
I've installed a new graphics card, freeing a TCI slot. There I put a soundcard, I installed shitloads of drivers and finally it worked.
