I still like it though.
I love car threads, cuz I love my shitty American 4 door Grandpa sedan too much.... Those bars on the side do nothing, just FYI.
97 Chevy. In pretty good shape, only real fault is that it slowly leaks power steering fluid, so I have to re-fill it every couple of months or so. Other than that, perfect condition with just under 50k miles on it.
The 2 blue ones on either side of the engine? Actually on W-Body GM cars, The engine's top mounts mount to the rad support, and the rad support has no top support of it own. So they keep the engine from twisting The rad support. I've driven with them off (when i painted them) , the whole Front end feels Wrong. Also in a severe front end collision, they help the front end and hood buckle properly. They came on ALL 2000 - 2009 W-Body GMs (Grand Prixs, Impalas, Monte Carlos, Regals, Intrigues), they are not a Performance upgrade. My car also came with the strut tower brace up front, but i added one in the re

FWD Drive car, The engine is sideways and has ALOT of play in it due to that (has to move with the suspension somewhat). Add to that The Rad support is only 3/8th thick. You Car also has a smaller engine that weighs less, and creates less Torque. it also has a different (and there for better) frontend Frame design. These bars were cheaper alterantive to heavily modifying the existing W-Body's Front Frame design. Just add 2 bars that brace the Rad Support to the strut towers. They Could have easily Doubled the thickness, and added a few Triangular pieces welded in etc etc, but GM decided to go this route. Edit: Forgot to mention my other "Vehicles" :P
Ah gotcha. Hey off topic, do you know if it's bad to drive with a broken sway bar end link? So far the steering just feels loose, that's it.
1992 saturn twin cam probably the best car everrrrrrrrr cassandra's never let me down
Ah gotcha. Hey off topic, do you know if it's bad to drive with a broken sway bar end link? Have had queit a few people on our car forum (the not so DIY'ers) ask if somethings missing cuz theres one on the otherside, and it turns out it rusted to peices and fell off 10,000 miles ago. think you actually feel it worse when a rear one goes (If your car has a 4 wheel independant Mc.Pherson strut setup) . Don't know much about the Focus's but on my car its a 15 minute job if you have the tools and they only cost 20$ anyways. But thats if you have the Bolt style like mine:
But no worries in the immediate future if it's broken? Lol cuz it's hanging off of there...

not really, basicly your sway bar's not doin anything till its fixed, but shouldn't cause any other Damage or harm to the car. Texting and Driving is bad God.... :v:

I drive one of these (94 Chevy Lumina) except mine is a 1990 model, with no spoiler and different rims. It's blue, with a red hood because my brother hit a deer. It doesn't work, because my brother took it off a ramp and fucking destroyed the transmission from the bottom of the car hitting the ground so hard. So, for now I am driving this (mine is some version where they take a chevy, put a TV/Rear seat that turns into bed/other shit in it, and slap their brand name on the outside; it has windows all around) shit is awesome :c00lbert: Also, my brother scraped the side of the van badly on a deep drain/curb on the corner of a street. Seeing a pattern?
'95 Buick Skylark No pictures cus I'm a lazy fuck.
lmao, you mean you WERE texting an driving god? Whos car is it. YOURS or your Parents that they gave you to drive? If your stuck paying for it outta pocket, and your parent's wouldn't mind you Learing how to do some car repairs: Im listing bout 100$ For a new Rad for all the engines (1.8, 2.0 , 2.4 , 1.9TDI) but thats BEFORE shipping. I'd go to a Auto Wrecker and get a used One if you can get a good price ($50 - $70) and install it your self. Man ... if my car didn't weigh 3300lbs, I'd kick your ass in a race Faze. 215HP, 235ft-lbs Gm 3.8L V6. need a Super charger so bad.
Oh god. I never suggest removing the rear sway bar. I have a lifted 1994 Nissan Pathfinder, and I removed the rear sway bar once to play with possible room for upgrades. It was like a fucking bad roller coaster. I swear i was going down the road sideways. rear bars help keep your rear end in line in some vehicles. No good pictures of one that looks like mine on google. Maybe I'll get a few pictures tomorrow somewhere, Been meaning to get some.

Then looked at the road, was a green light so I took my eyes off for a second. Look back and it's red. Slam on my brakes and of all things I rear end a fucking jaguar, a really nice one at that. Gotta go to court in a month but other guy ain't gonna show. I didn't even dent his car.
2009 Honda Civic Coupe LX-S I got it after my old 2001 Lexas sedan was wrecked = (

And thats why I only text once I'm stopped at a red light. Worst that happens is People honk @ me when the green light comes. I dont like doing it, but half the time its Co-Workers needing help @ work.

I should learn how a car works, very useful skill to have. How much would a haynes manual cost?
I get lucky with texting I guess. I do it sometimes while driving, but usually at a stop, or on a straight with no stops, since I have a full keyboard. Basically, I have to drive with my knees to text lol.
