The self-proclaimed 'Un-carrier' recently announced affordable high-volume data plans and unlimited video streaming, and now it is trying to lure customers from other services with its holiday offers. So far T-Mobile has announced three months of unlimited LTE data for its customers and a $200 credit for those switching from Sprint, as part of its Un-carrier Unwrapped campaign. Now, to take on the biggest network in the US, the company has chosen to give a big discount on the "world's most famous smartphone" in addition to offers on various accessories and wearables. Customers who decide to switch from AT&T can purchase a 128GB iPhone for the price of a 16GB one, which translates to a $200 discount.
T-Mobile is great. They bumped us up to 10gb per line while charging us less. For Thanksgiving, they sent me a message saying they're thankful for our patronage so we get unlimited 4gLTE data for the next 3 months. If it weren't for no 3G or 4GLTE at our cabin in South Lake Tahoe, they would be perfect
i wish other industries competed as well as the cellular industry does, you always hear about shit like this and it's great because no matter who wins in the end, the consumer does too
I switched to Tmobile a while ago from virgin mobile. Aside from a few dead zones, usually in new development areas the services is great.
Only issue I've had with T-mobile is their website gets shitty. Other than that, I've always had outstanding service.
I had T-Mobile like 12 years ago in middle/high school and they were awful. I switched back to them last February and its been awesome since then. Rarely run into signal issues and 4g is fast as hell. 100+mbps
I wish Canadian mobile companies weren't so shit.
In large cities, T-Mobile is good. Smaller areas, T-Mobile is worthless. Even in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina area (fairly big city), T-Mobile has limited coverage. It's why they do this, they wouldn't be getting customers with the spotty coverage unless they offered good prices on phones or service.

Tmo is great if you can get service. They got a lot better in the twin cities in recent years but much of MN is still 2G only
I wish they had more urban coverage but yeah tmobile is really nice

RURAL was the word I was looking for

I was paying $30/mo for Unlimited Text, 100 minutes of talk (I hate talking) and some Data, I forgot how much, 2-5GB. But right after I switched to Ting on my Oneplus One, T-Mobile upped everyone's data to 10GB I could've paid $50 for Unlimited talk/text and some data, but I like cheap. Which is why I switched to Ting. Last month my phone bill was $16, the month before that $21, and before that $16. And so far it's looking like this month's bill is going to be $9. But I haven't had any problems what so ever out of T-Mobile or Ting. Hell T-Mobile let me transfer my number even without a headache, it took all of 5 minutes
Oh my friggin god I just switched to them from AT&T a little under a month ago. Oh well, still got a hell of deal. Of course I also got 3 6s iPhones with 128gb too, so this stings a bit. On the bright side they announced unlimited video streaming a few days after I joined them so that was really sweet.
You can edit your posts you know?
didn't realize the automerge failed until just now
Damn, I wish I could switch to T-Mobile, but because I'm from bumfuck West Virginia, they can't transfer my number over.
Goddammit I switched like 3 months ago.
