Hello Facepunch, I would post on /fit/ but it would be useless because all i'll get is "BETA" "FAT", etc comments (sounds like middle school, no?) Anyways, I'm 17, 135-150 pounds. Havn't weighed myself for a long time. I'm not terribly fat, in fact if I wear my usual street cloths, I don't look fat. But my problem is my ankles/wrists and knees are weak. I can barely walk 2+ miles without wanting to fall over dead because their in such pain. I've went on walks with my father and about 75% into our walk I have to tell him to slow down abit occasionally and it's annoying because my feet and ankles are in terrible pain. We also have an eliptical (here's where it gets pathetic) I get on and can only use it 30-45 seconds at a time without my knees and ankles getting into terrible pain. I drink water regularly (3-4 bottles) and I eat oatmeal/granola bars and drink milk for breakfast, I take a multivitamin, eat a sandwhich with fresh deli meat and cheese and whatever my dad makes for dinner (not alot of it though, I've limited down how much I eat). I don't feel any weight loss or performance boost. What should I do in this situation, I feel like my efforts are going to nothing. What do I do at this point?
That doesn't sound like a nutrition problem as much as some of your joints are just really weak for some reason. If you really want to lose weight, just eat less calories than you burn, simple as that. Now, on to your joint problem, is it actually your joints hurting or your muscles supporting that joint? You could try a beginner's workout for some time, this would strengthen both your muscles around the joints and the ligaments themselves on top of giving you that "performance boost" you're looking for.

If I had to guess, I would guess it's the muscles. So, would you say I'm eating good enough or should I eat better?

As for eating, its not too bad, basically just stay away from anything deep fried or so fat that you can see your reflection in it. I can't really comment further on it since all you really seem to want to do right now is sort out that pain rather than actually losing weight or getting some mass on. One advice could be to take out the multivitamins, they're usually pointless as half the shit in them are really hard to digest which is made worst by the fact that you're throwing all that hard-to-digest shit all at once inside of you, and if you're already getting the nutrients you need in a day with food, taking them can be bad even. If you have too much of certain vitamins, they can negatively impact your health, so drop the multivitamins and just eat more vegetables really.

It's almost like a burning sensation.
Where is the pain exactly, is it right ON the joints like your wrists, knees and ankles or is it located somewhere else? If its right on the joints, you might want to take it easy as joint pain is never good. As for eating, to lose torso fat, you'll have to lose weight, unfortunately you can't target where you lose weight so just eat less calories than you burn, try to lose around 1 lbs a week and you'll be golden, basically just keep eating what you're eating but in less quantities and make sure to add some vegetables to get all dem vitamins you need and stuff.

On the elliptical, it's my knees then my ankles that get this burning sensation of a pain. It definitely isn't a sharp pain.
it seems when you put your joints through strenuous excercise they hurt like fuk? doesn't seem to be a fat issue. i'm not qualified to tell you shit though so go get it checked. also do you take fish oil? if not then take it, it helps joints
see doctor about joints.
clean up your diet and i mean clean your diet 100% if in 6 months you don't improve consult a doc
Also 135-150 lb? That's a kind of a large variation of weight. How tall are you?
also fish oil, 3,000mg daily
unless he is a midget, i doubt 150 lb would cause joint problems in a healthy human being!
my automerge binsky you cock
I would honestly just consult a doctor before you proceed with anything regarding fitness.
oh my god
