Trumpgrets? New Study Reveals Trump Voters DON'T Regret Voting Trump.
18 replies, posted
Despite an onslaught of ridicule from the national media, chiding from their neighbors and repeated public relations flare-ups from the White House, President Trump’s voters remain remarkably loyal to him, pollsters and analysts say.
These voters reject notions that they should regret their vote, saying that their frustration is not with Mr. Trump but with the resistance mounted by Democrats determined to stymie Mr. Trump at every turn.
But they also blame much of the stalled Trump agenda on congressional Republicans — party leaders, hard-line conservatives and moderates whose squabbling caused major problems in the Obamacare repeal effort.

Polls — including a series released around the 100-day mark of his presidency — have consistently found the tales of Trump voters abandoning ship are few and far between. Instead, most of Mr. Trump’s supporters see him as a powerful leader and celebrate his crusade against political correctness and his combative approach to the news media.

I think this goes to show that Trump has created his own version of a "Cult of Personality"
This strange movement where his supporters absolutely follow his word and actions without even stepping back to have a moment of critical thinking of his character or his behavior absolutely terrifies me. Especially if this whole Russian thing does find something to impeach Trump, and even imprison him, what would the possibility of his "Die-hard" supporters be if they took up arms and caused "Bundy" style standoffs and hostile situations across the US? All in the name of their "Perfect" leader...

well we could just let them pass his budget in whole and give it 6 months before the country goes bankrupt. they probably won't be thinking he's making america great when all the red states go bankrupt and society has collapsed

Two things are happening. Either fox news only viewers believe he is doing a good job or the nihilist bunch who knew he was a dumpster fire are getting what they want.
I personally am very pissed he isn't a bigger disaster. I do want him nailed for every error he commits.
Original title was "No buyer’s remorse: Trump backers stand strong, fault Congress for shortcomings" for the record.
Gimmick account created today, instantly starts spamming pro-Trump stuff
Did someone say "mods?"
That aside, this is similar to what was brought up in that thread about Clinton's voters regretting their vote more so than Trump's: People who voted for him have a bigger sense of investment and responsibility, because he got elected. Every scandal, every stumble, every awkward show of recklessness is now partly due to them. Admitting to fucking up your own country is pretty hard.

The thing bout chaos is it is fair.
Can't have regret when you think that anything negative is fake news aimed at harming the president.
The conservative media has been on a constant defense campaign for Donald trump
Every leak is fake
Trump is actually loved and respected by the world, and the media is just trying to convince you otherwise
It's not about what is leak, but about who leaked it
It's doesn't matter if trump did something bad since Hilary and Obama did worse
The only reason we don't see positive trump news is because the media hates him and wants him to fail
Why would they have regret. For all they know trump is still on route to being the best president in the history of presidents, maybe ever

On the topic of the story, who's surprised that Trump voters think the ones to blame for Trump's failures are RINOs and Democrats, not Trump? Circle the wagons, blame everyone else!
Trump supoorters are such a unique phenomenon for me, I've never seen anyone tribalistically worship a politician like this before.
It really is a cult though, all of Trumps actions are spinned as good, even his ridiculous and childish antics. All media, with the exception of Trump approved media, are fake. They're even willing to not have their own opinions any more, which was especially noticable when he 180'd on Syria.
Of course they don't regret voting for him, theyre genuinely in love with him (Which is something you should never be in with a politician)

Hmm, let me think on what they will say...
"Obama/Hillary/insulting nickname to either of them fucked this country too much, economy won't be fixed, they caused this to happen somehow by controlling the government, deep state, wiretaps, illegal voters, Benghazi, emails, Pizzagate."
Yeah, doubt they would not defend their orange god if the budget goes through and then the economy and society goes down to the shitter. Well, that and if the economy goes down, the blue states also get hurt, and the supporters hate liberals, so they would praise it even more.
All this tells me is that Hillary Clinton actually was that shit

Chaos is about is unfair as it gets, really.
That website says CNN is left-center biased but I never hear you about that source :downs:
Yeah that's what you get when Trump voters main source of news is the dudes own Twitter
That's because Left-center is allowed. If CNN was rated past left-center, it wouldn't. I didn't write the rules.
Oh wait, I guess that still counts as right-center. Welp, I'm dumb, I'll snip that, never mind me everyone. :v:

That's not all that far right and it has a high factual reporting rating.

barack obama?
Doesn't speak well of them, frankly.
barack obama?
Do you seriously consider them to be in a same universe in that regard?
After a slight uptick in the first two to three weeks of his term, Trump’s strong approval ratings have headed downward. But it hasn’t been a steady decline. Instead, they fell considerably from about 29 percent on March 6 — when Republicans introduced their health care bill — to around 24 percent on April 1, shortly after the GOP pulled the bill from the House floor. They then remained stable for much of April, before beginning to fall again this month after the reintroduction (and House passage) of the health care bill and after Trump fired FBI director James Comey on May 9. As of Tuesday, just 21.4 percent of Americans strongly approved of Trump’s performance.
By comparison, 45 percent of Americans strongly approved of President Obama’s performance as of April 2009, although Obama’s strong approval numbers would fall considerably over the course of his term — to the mid-to-high 20s by the midterms and to the high teens by 2014.
The share of Americans who somewhat approve of Trump’s performance has actually increased slightly, however, from about 16 percent in early February to 17.9 percent as of Tuesday. In part, this probably reflects voters who once strongly approved of Trump and who have now downgraded him to the somewhat approve category. (Trump’s strongly approve and somewhat approve numbers have been inversely correlated so far, meaning that as one has risen, the other has tended to fall.) A potential problem for Trump is that in the event of continued White House turmoil, the next step for these somewhat approve voters would be to move toward disapproval of the president.
