Hi guys, i'm starting a course at College this tuesday, and it involves using Apple Macs for work etc, was wondering how easy they are to get used to, as i've spent my life using Windows 98, then XP, then Vista then 7. So its gonna be like seeing your grandad trying to understand what Defragging is.
Feedback please?
Remember that clicking the red dot does not close the program, just the window.
Command+Q is your friend

Other than that you will be fine
Pretty awkward when you've been using CTRL ALT.etc for most of your computer-time.
Took a few days for me to be accustomed, make sure you enable secondary click if the computers don't already have it enabled, I have no idea why it isn't enabled by default.

Not quite. If it's a light application like iCal or Address Book, then you're right. If it's more resource intensive like say, iPhoto, it will be closed immediately as indicated by the "in use" light on the dock.

Not very hard. I recommend going to an apple store and trying some out, getting a feel for it.
