Parkour (not free running) is the art of movement. Getting from point A to point B. Doing cool stuff while your running and pretty much acting way underaged... Wikipedia Definition:
Parkour (sometimes also abbreviated to PK), or l'art du déplacement [1] (English: the art of displacement) is the physical discipline of training to overcome any obstacle within one's path by adapting one's movements to the environment.[2] It is a non-competitive, physical discipline of French origin in which participants run along a route, attempting to negotiate obstacles in the most efficient way possible. Skills such as jumping and climbing, or the more specific parkour moves are employed. The object of parkour is to get from one place to another using only the human body and the objects in the environment. The obstacles can be anything in one's environment, but parkour is often seen practiced in urban areas because of the many suitable public structures available such as buildings and rails.
Here's for you: View YouTUBE video http://youtube.com/watch?v=WEeqHj3Nj2c View YouTUBE video http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZWhcjub_tEs And this one is from a movie: View YouTUBE video http://youtube.com/watch?v=-wvKU9z5ItY There are a few different parts of parkour are: (1) Vaulting, which is getting over any type of obstacle as fast (and stylishly) as humanly possible. Even in this category, there are many different types of vaults, like the kong vault, the tic tac, etc. They're all shown in this video: View YouTUBE video http://youtube.com/watch?v=BZhgIn4iVzg (2)Then there's running. Pretty self explanatory... (3) And there are also a lot of flips and rolls and such involved. In case you don't know what a flip or roll are, watch these: View YouTUBE video http://youtube.com/watch?v=Joj_X0YqkRc Yeah. By the way, the reason I labeled this "YouTube" is because it was the closest tag I could find. So what do you think about this?
Free running differs from parkour by the way. "Free running or freerunning is a form of urban acrobatics in which participants, known as free runners or traceurs, use the city and rural landscape to perform movements through its structures. It incorporates efficient movements from parkour, adds aesthetic vaults and other acrobatics, such as tricking and street stunts, creating an athletic and aesthetically pleasing way of moving. It is commonly practiced at gymnasiums and in urban areas that are cluttered with obstacles."

Ok its fixed...
Parkour is one of those things that looks really awesome at face value until you realize that it's essentially worthless in a modern society except for looking like a douche.

I do it for the fact I have fun climbing stuff and messing around. I usualy do it to mess with friends and jump on them from behind when they are not looking.
hey I can do some cool cat leaps and crane's
