Well, I really can't decide which to get... If any of you guys have one of these computers, tell me. I want to have a fast computer that had a meager memory and I also want to try PC gaming. The games i want to play are...
1. Age of empires 3
2. Oblivion
3. Call of duty 4 or MW2
Heres the link to them...

wtf?
Neither.
Well, can you recommend a better one?
Alienware is horrible. It's computers you can buy for half the price, but they throw in some LED lights and double the price.

What's your budget and where do you live
You should build your own, or if you can't, get a good prebuilt one. A desktop computer i mean.

Thats what I thought. Some other people in the reviews said you also need a external disc drive and the sound quality is terrible.

FYI, they're laptops. You can't really "build your own", and barebones doesn't really count either.

VERY good for playing high end game. Battery life is going to be shit because of i7

Also very good for playing high end games, battery life should be much better
Do you have to go for a smaller-sized laptop?
Or do you even need a gaming laptop at all?
-double post-

Crap... I need at least 2.4 GHz or I can't play COD 4. But it looks awesome though.

Wait... oh. Replied before you edited.

don't worry about it, you can play Call of Duty perfectly fine with it
on both of those laptops

Something for gaming and that won't freeze every five seconds.

Clock speed doesn't mean much nowadays. An i5 or i7 can handle most games fine.
And before anyone asks, yes it will play Crysis.

So can you consider a desktop, or a desktop/netbook combo?
If you can get a desktop make a thread in PC Building

Eh... not sure about samsung. My friend said they have terrible computer build quality. And never heard of lenovo.
both are pretty nice brands imo

Samsung and Lenovo?
Alienware is a subsidiary of Dell. They're both equally shit.

You shouldn't base the quality of an entire company off of one single product. Both are outstanding companies, and all companies will make failure lines every now and then. Same thing with Sony, even though their share in the computer market is not very big, but not all laptops are that bad.

Your choice. If you want better performance, pick the Lenovo laptop. If you want better battery life, pick the Samsung laptop.

Well, I'll think about it. And see if those are available locally.

Well, I need to think about it. I'll see if one of the two are available locally.
I already asked this before, but seeing how you never replied, and it's pretty important, so I'll ask again.
Do you need a gaming laptop? Or would you be fine with getting a desktop?

Eh... I can only get a laptop. I need something portable.

Then I would advice you to choose the Samsung laptop. Battery life is a huge part of portability. I bought an i7 laptop a year ago, and strongly regretting it after because of its poor battery life. I can only use it for an average of 1.5 hours even just for web browsing.

You most likely can't find it in Best Buy.
Also, what did you mean by "order offline"?
