The purpose of this essay is to absolutely and clearly present the reason why we believe what we believe in Modern Western Civilization. I came to this after thinking about why on Earth Donna (my girlfriend) would support Obama . Basic macro-economics and the Constitution are at complete odds with him, yet to us he's the ultimate vision of the American dream. The answer isn't simple but it's a good theory (coming from the guy who made it up).
It starts with the masses. Us. We are the masses because we are the people and in our society the people "rule". We think this because we have been falsely told that the United States of America is a democracy while very technically true, absolutely incorrect. That's a later matter, because the present matter is that democracy is the rule of the mass' majority opinion. Ever wonder why people normally float to a mainstream version of anything? Because it exists massively, and is massively accepted.
"But I'm different", I'm not different and neither are you. This isn't to say you don't feel, love, touch, and see individually. You do, and so do I but it doesn't mean that you're built different. Again, this is something else that's massively told to us, we're "different" we shouldn't let "anyone change who we are" and we should never stop "believing in ourselves" because that "makes a difference". All of the quoted phrases have been quoted because they are massively used slogans. Slogans are what keep this society running towards what it's running towards and it doesn't have to be a catchy advertisement. It could be a clever phrase you heard someone else say and you just ran with it and copied it because it was clever, thus, appealing and so if it's appealing to you surely it is to someone else. And this, is absolute proof that mentally and physically you are as different as you push yourself to be externally and internally, you are the same breathing, heart-beating, thinking, feeling person as the one that lives next door. You both find things appealing and clever, and often you share them in common.
This is the first fundamental principle of mass control. Mass control (being based on mass opinion) exists because massively things are appealing. For example, food that tastes good. We all normally agree that a bit of chocolate is good. A bit of a warm meal is good. So naturally we could very possibly operate the same way in perceiving and understanding that an idea is good.
However we often don't know the nutritional content of the bit of food we think is good, so naturally couldn't we not exactly know the entire hierarchy and composition of an idea that we think is good? In the big picture, that seemingly good chocolate will go to my thighs and that warm meal may do the same. In the big picture, that seemingly good idea may implode after making it past the second con.
But do we think so systematically? Of course not, why do that when we can go to the "convenience store" and buy a six pack of Corona and watch Family Guy? Why give myself a headache about our economic downturn I don't know the science to when I could just go with the popular opinion of trusting a profound and fresh leader? Why think so hard into something so cynical when I could make myself happy with all of the fun that I could buy. All the beer, all the Xanex, all the cable, all the food, all the whatever the hell I can or cannot (yet still purchase) afford.
We don't, and the more we don't pay attention and come together to confront the far more profound truth and the far more incredible facts such as the big winner, that we are a society controlled in mass according to what we democratically decide to enjoy. As soon as the Elite Few know what it is, they will give it to you. It is the food to a starving complainer, locked in a cage.
Finally, out of this little moment of understanding, understand in every situation and way that the United States of America was designed in every way attempting to oppose this type of government and this type of thinking in it's founding. That we are not a "democracy" but a "Republic". This is not a reference to political parties, this is a reference to the definition of the word. A republic, is a representative system in which a representative is democratically elected and then is bound by law legislated by the past and present body of representatives. The lawmakers in this republic have no ultimatum that goes according to their rising whim because they are bound from it by the shield of a constitution which is the most beautiful difference between a Republic and Democracy.
As long as the people enforce it, we are not a democracy, we are a Constitutional Republic. Protected by the law which is enforced not by police but by the masses. Not by the peoples but by the united people. The people's only massively agreed opinion should be that we are entitled to it by the First Amendment of the Constitution, and that it is exersised by all without limit. If it is limited, you have your new massively agreeable idea. Rock that boat.
Because the more we don't think systematically into what we vote for the crappier the outcome turns out. We have no one to blame but our individual selves for voting for people we see a lot. If we should vote for anyone we should look in the third parties and in the pool of candidates that aren't getting a lot of funding because the Elite Few want it that way. Because the Elite Few will invite a Few more by simply putting out the right appealing message in the Mass Media.
And on bigotry, the reason it exists is because in the long run, the more a slogan is heard the more empty and second nature it becomes. The more offensive and intolerant babble, the more empty it will also become and when you're so used to it and tolerant of it, the faster it disappears from engaging your emotions. At this point, in our finest hour of absolute lack of sensitivity and absolute tolerance we have reached the final agreement. We're fine, and we all agree, that we love each other because no matter how isolated our consciousness and perception is we always have the things we have in common.

Aaaand over in one.
The one problem with all that is that while the US has most elements of a Constitutional Republic, we are technically a Democratic Republic, as we all vote on our representative, rather than having one Assigned. Otherwise, bravo. Absolute genius man.
