So yeah, I recorded this in several pieces and puit it together. Parts of this is improvised.
It's still kind of a WIP, so criticism is greatly appreciated.

OH come on comment, I deserve it! You guys never comment my work, please!
The first recording I'm guessing is all improv, which is why some of it sounds mildly okay and a bit rough. That first lick you do in the beginning should most definitely be worked on more or cut out.
The second recording is MUCH better, the only thing you could do is work on the transitions between chords and it should sound fine.
Well overall it's pretty non melodic though the some parts and the intro sounded pretty decent.
The fuzzy distortion doesn't really go well with the playing style.
What I noticed is a part of Nothing Else Matters with a few notes changed.
And lastly it could've use some backing track/rythm to it.

Yeah, I wish I knew how to change the guitar sound afterwards, it took a long time to record.
Maybe I should have made a bit more melodic although the idea was to make it pretty spasmic.
And that was not nothing else matters, it was an E minor that i plucked. Metallica wasn't the first do do that you know.

You mean this riff?

I might remake this later on, that would be tomorrow or the day after that.
I think this is an idea that could bear sweet fruit.
I know but there were more parts that reminded me of it.:buddy:
I understand.
Sorry no offense but I really disliked the first one, nothing felt right there. Although the second piece... that was pretty nice man, Maybe your a bit rough on the strumming or thats how I take it. It also becomes suddenly quiet, Im guessing you took the second one in different times or switched channels. I think the second one with a bit more work could become a very nice piece of music.
Do you think it feels unfinished?

Oh and I don't take offence, especially when I'm actually asking what you think

In a sense I feel so, do you play bass aswell? Maybe you could fill in some piano/keyboard (use for drumbeats) and put some bass in there aswell. Would be quite sexy indeed :v:
My sister has a bas in the basement, maybe she'll let me borrow it?
Anyway, I'll be away for a week so I'll just bump this thread when I update.
Cool, the words I was looking for were rhythm/backing chords, you need something that holds the song together, almost like a foundation.
Yeah, maybe I'll make a drum loop in FL and play along to that.
Sounds out of tune.
Sounds rather out of tune and has no rhythm at all. You can also hear the parts where you stopped recording.
Sounds like it's missing confidence.
Really wavy and not clear.
