Last Thursday, Elizabeth decided she'd rather play the game of love for real and stole her mom's ATM card, snuck out her bedroom window, and hopped into her brother's 2011 Nissan Versa, according to KRIV-TV. Robinson drove north through Arkansas to meet the object of her affection, Dylan, in Nashville, Tenn. Elizabeth's mother, Tressa Robinson, started noticing some changes in the teen a little while before she made her break. "She started staying in her bedroom more, isolating herself where she was always with the headset, always talking," Robinson told the TV station. "That’s how they communicated through the Xbox." When Elizabeth’s dad took away the Xbox earlier this week, she decided to make her break and run away to Hodgenville, Ky., to meet Dylan in the flesh. Although Dylan tried to talk her out of the road trip, Elizabeth went through with it any way. The teenager was about 50 miles away from Nashville when local police finally apprehended her, Dep. Thomas Gilliland, spokesman for the Harris County Sheriff's Office, told the Houston Chronicle. He was impressed that she was able to drive for so long without getting caught despite being three years away from getting a learner's permit. "It's amazing she was able to manipulate the roadways," Gilliland told the paper. Elizabeth was taken into custody until her parents arrived. Once they retrieved her from the authorities, they decided to arrange a meeting with Dylan so their daughter could put the thing to rest. No charges are expected to be filed against the lovestruck teenage car thief, Gilliland told the Houston Chronicle.
Source: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/09/07/elizabeth-annette-robinson_n_1866225.html?1347061871&icid=maing-grid7%7Cmain5%7Cdl1%7Csec1_lnk3%26pLid%3D202735
The things some people(young too, as it goes to show) will do for a boyfriend/girlfriend over Xbox is amazing. Amazingly what though.
LOL i wonder what possesses someone to do this
Well, at least she'll have an advantage in driving school.
Must have been 700 miles of simple road with little traffic, 'else she probably would have hit someone
Although Dylan tried to talk her out of the road trip,
I can see why
700 miles? Christ, she must've been a real pro at driving in order to not get caught
LOL i wonder what possesses someone to do this
love? did you read the article?
That face scares me
What the hell is up with her shirt. I've never seen a shirt like that, it loops down and up really sharply, not like most low-cuts that are more of a gradual parabola.
love? did you read the article?
yep because you really feel true love when meet some randomer on the xbox
yep because you really feel true love when meet some randomer on the xbox
Sure the facts of that happening may be slim, but it's still possible. She seemed pretty damn dedicated.
Sure the facts of that happening may be slim, but it's still possible. She seemed pretty damn dedicated.
dedicated? Seems more like 'flat out insane'. She's only 13 yet is willing to STEAL a car and an ATM card and drive seven hundred miles to meet some guy she met on the xbox. She has to be some sort of nutcase, surely
The teenager was about 50 miles away from Nashville when local police finally apprehended her
650 miles out of 700 miles five star wanted level

Good lord. That is the face of nightmares.
I wonder if they met by calling each other homosexuals and talking about how they slept with the other's mother.
yep because you really feel true love when meet some randomer on the xbox
Ha, I met my partner on steam. We've been living together for over a year now.
Ha, I met my partner on steam. We've been living together for over a year now.
okay but these guys are 12-13, slightly different i'd say. Also congratulations, i hope you guys have a prosperous future
I've visited online friends in europe but it was planned ahead of time with the consent of parents >.<
It would be romantic if the girl was attractive...
Pepper;37591848']
Bring me solo and the wookie.
It would be romantic if the girl was attractive...
While I agree looks may be nice, it isn't always everything and not fully needed for some romance of the sort. Haha.
yep because you really feel true love when meet some randomer on the xbox
She probably doesn't get much friendliness from school and thus takes what she can.
She must have been driving one of those newfangled cars that runs on potatoes
She must have been driving one of those newfangled cars that runs on potatoes
I'm seeing a downs syndrome joke in here somewhere.
