I am looking at building an air purifier, The current design is using card board and 3 high wattage computer fans. I'm not sure what I can use for the filtering part of the purifier. I will post pictures when I start working on it.
Here is the basic design so far, There will be edits.

Addative: 8-10 AMP Fuse in line. Possibly making the fans reversable to use it as a cooler too.
Pictures so far.

Gotta say, it could look a lot worse. It's kinda late, but you probably should have used painters tape instead since it's usually all nice and blue lookin'.
Why not use home air filters as your filtering medium? They vary in size and aren't that expensive.
Also why are all three of your fans down there at the bottom? Why not have two fans, one above the other on the side sucking air in, and another fan on the other side blowing air out to maximize airflow through the thing and also to pull it across your filtering medium?
Nice! I have lots of fans lying around, think I'll do something like this myself...
