• My girlfriend moves back to Germany in a month..

Well Facepunch, I just finished my junior year of high school and for the past several months I've been dating this great girl... who happens to be a foreign exchange student. She came here from Germany last summer and has stayed the whole year. When I met her in January it wasn't long before we both knew we liked each other. So, being the foolish teenagers we are, we started a relationship with what is now feeling like an oncoming train steadily approaching in the background. Yeah, starting a relationship while temporarily in another country probably isn't the best idea but that's what we've done and we're not ready to give it up. She's going to be heading back home in about four weeks and we both know how difficult such a long distance relationship can be and the likelihood of failure, but we'll be damned if we're not going to try. That being said, my main goal is that I just want her experience here and her memories of these times to be nothing but the best - no matter what happens in the future. I've been showing her some of my personal favorite things and also been trying to prove that not every American is obese, ignorant, and overly patriotic. :fsmug: So what I was hoping for was some suggestions about things we can do together and places I should take her for her last few weeks in America. What kind of things should she have to do here before going back? Also, any helpful tips on managing a relationship with an ocean between would likely be welcomed. Keep in mind that I live in (Western) New York and we're both 16 years old.. Thanks guys, I'm sure I'll think of more to add later. Where's Maverick when you need him

Sometimes it's best to let go and use that relationship as experience as you go on. I'm not saying that you shouldn't stay with her, but eventually most long distance relationships fail. If you won't see her again, it's probably in your best interests to just let go - instead of trying to maintain a long distance relationship, you can focus your attention on other girls - keep in mind there's always a better girl out there.
I honestly don't care. hit and quit it
There's a 99.9% chance of this not working out in the long run
And that. You're (likely) too young to successfully hold a relationship for a long time, let alone over the seas.

give her a taste of your all-american hot dog before she returns to brautwurst
Simple: Enjoy your last time with her and move on afterwards. Overseas relationship is not going to work.
Where's Maverick when you need him
Not here because he isn't needed.

I can't help having a different view on it just about every day. I know that it is quite literally impossible at our age and I never meant to sound like I think I'm something special. However, it would be possible see her again as my family likes to travel and it wouldn't be my first time overseas. And if our lame teenage love means nothing anyway, then what's wrong with trying?
Have some mad, awesome sex before she parts. Also, facebook pictures of her please. [sp]without you in them[/sp] preferably.
I'll be honest, it probably isn't going to work out. But I'd be a damned asshole to tell you not to try, because if there's a likely chance of it not working, then there's always the opposite and that is you two might really be fit for each other to not let miles separate you in terms of love. I wish you the best of luck, but do know what you're getting yourselves into.

No one cares, just fuck her and stop whining to us about it.
OP if you do this you're just gonna set yourself up for a lot of misery and bullshit. you've had your fun, let go
If I made a thread every time a girlfriend moved away, I'd have made a thread.
I honestly don't care. hit and quit it
rape and escape
is this all that's posted in GD now?
Just fuckin' hit it dude. She's just going to get another dude when she gets back to Germany and you're both 16 so you literally cannot have a meaningful relationship yet. It's physically impossible.
stick your penis in her butt
In my opinion, the best thing to do is a mutual breakup, still remain good friends, and visit if she comes to America again. 9 times out of 10, long term relationships won't work at an age where you can't visit each other every once in a while, and the fact that you'll be in different countries makes that even more difficult.
thats not good.
Alright, looks like I've given off the wrong tone.. Yes, I know it really REALLY has zero chance of working out. What I was looking for is what I can do with her in the meantime. How can I make this last month special?
stick your penis in her butt
o ok
Long distance relationships ALMOST never work out, they do if you're both really committed to it.
Some dates would be great for her. Show her around! It is New York so I'm sure that you can find locations to visit that are cost-effective for you. Introduce America only an American could do. Trust me, being a foreigner here, it would be a memorable experience. Some theatre performances perhaps? A concert would be cool. How about sampling some of New York's finest dining areas? Take lots of photos with her in different locations? Go treasure hunting downtown to buy her a present to help her remember you by? It won't hurt to make love to her. Something you'll both remember. Also, if you really want it to work, just keep in touch with her over the years until you can both see each other. But I would advise against that. On the positive side; if it is meant to be it is meant to be, so don't sweat it. Think of it this way, when someone asks you if you are in a relationship, you can safely say: "Yeah, she's in Germany right now." :P
tell her you love her and that one day if your heart desires you might come see her. or do what this man would do
I'd say look for stuff to do around Buffalo and Rochester. They're both fairly big, both in New York, and pretty cheap too. Find some tourism sites and see what they suggest.
