I own a Lenovo ideacentre. It is one of the shittiest computers ever made and does not even possess a freaking disk drive. Anyway, the stupid crap doesn't come with a full recovery partition, unlike HP and Acer, which allows you to restore your computer to default factory settings. So I screwed up my computer and I need to restore it to factory settings. I know you can download a recovery disk, but I don't have a freaking disk drive!!! So right now I'm facing a huge problem. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Is it running Windows 7? [url]http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/html/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool[/url]
yes it is. [editline]10th March 2011[/editline] unfortunately, I bought the computer (retail). NO USB/DVD Download Tool. Damn [editline]10th March 2011[/editline] oh well. I'm so screwed.
Get a USB optic drive?
Contact the manufacturer.
There's a program which makes the windows .iso work on a flash drive. I think it's actually by Microsoft, but I'm not sure. You should google for it
Check the Ubuntu website, it has it on. I use it to install Linux.
BAM first google result. [url]http://lmgtfy.com/?q=installing+windows+from+a+usb&l=1[/url] [editline]10th March 2011[/editline] You will need another computer with a disk drive.
Have you checked to see if you use a restore point back to when it worked?
