Cancer Patient Who Complained About Losing Insurance Due to Obamacare Faces IRS Audit
In what is either a bizarre coincidence or a malicious attack, a cancer patient who publicly claimed his health insurance was cancelled because of Obamacare has suddenly found himself the subject of an audit by the IRS.
Bill Elliot, who says he is a supporter of President Obama, appeared on Fox News’ “The Kelly File” a few weeks ago.
During the segment, Elliot told Megyn Kelly that he was one of millions of Americans who have received notices that contrary to Obama’s promise, they were not being allowed to keep their healthcare plan and his policy was being dropped because his cancer was considered “beyond a catastrophic pre-existing condition.”
He stated his plan was canceled because of new regulations under Obamacare.
What a fucking disgrace.
Find out later he literally was running off with money.
The IRS sure don't like the Right.

Neither Life-News or Fox News are credible sources.

Uhh what
fox news is credible, just carries bias.
You shouldn't use it for a research paper, but it's fine to get your news from them.
fox news is credible, just carries bias.
Uhh
Fox news has good news sources unless its political.
Then except extreme right side bias.
his cancer was considered “beyond a catastrophic pre-existing condition.”
He must feel special, they had to come up with a new category to justify booting him.
What does beyond catastrophic even mean? Catastrophe seems like the kind of word you would use for things that are as worse as it can get.
His cancer is gonna infect the world and kill everyone.
I can see why no company wants to cover him.
I don't think it's a cause for alarm. Audits are more about providing clarity than delivering any kind of punishment.
If the man didn't lie to the tax collector, he has nothing to worry about. I think it's all just a coincidence.

Stick to Fox business.

- Credible
- Carries bias
You get to choose one when describing news. Or in this case "news".
I honestly don't think FOX is any worse than MSNBC or CNN, it's just the prime time anchors I really despise.
Hannity is insufferable, but The Five can be great.

All news carries some bias either in presentation or in selecting of topics to cover. Facts can still be correct when analysis is biased.

The three networks are about even in terms of quality and bias, they're just biased in different directions.

CNN isn't as biased as the other two, it's just particularly shitty.

FOX is heavily right-wing, MSNBC is heavily left-wing, and CNN is just sensationalist as all fuck, yet center.

I used to watch TV news. Then pretty much all of it became shit, just like newspapers.
Obamacare was a noble cause, but the more news I read about it, it seems like it has become a mess.
MSNBC is heavily left-wing
No.
No.
MSNBC is.
The one thing that makes MSNBC have much more credibility than Fox News is that they are willing to admit they were wrong when they are.
They are also willing to look at both sides when needed (although the story will focus on the left wing and why its better).

MSNBC's politics line up with the Democratic party, which is pro-establishment, moderate, and supports the status quo. Neither entity is remotely leftist unless you are looking at it from a far-right point of view where practically everything is to the left.
They can be accused of being cheerleaders for the Democrats, which they kinda are, but in no way are they the "heavily-left version of Fox News".

Mind naming some completely bias-free news channels then? Or is nobody credible?
It doesn't matter if a source is bias as long as your able to see through the bias. You should get your news from multiple sources to get an all around view because everyone wants to spin in their own favor. If you decline to use a major news source because of it's supposed bias then you've already likely subscribed to someone else's bias. The moment you use only one major source is the moment you lost your own credibility.
Take your news from all of them. Use your brain to compile it all into your own opinion. Use Fox for conservative view, MSNBC for liberal veiw, BBC and Al Jazeera for international. Get your news from all.

I don't think you understand what an audit is or how it can be used punitively.
The IRS sure don't like the Right.
Of all the government agencies, you don't fuck with the IRS.
Ok guys, I know Fox News is one of the least reliable sources, but the article about him being audited was not from Fox. The second video is an interview about the audit in question with some radio channel host.
It's true though, Obamacare is pretty shit. Before, we had to pay around $1000 a year, now it's going to be around $3200-$5200 and we can't keep our amazing healthcare plan.
I know, this is mostly a pro-Obama forum, and he is much better than Romney, but he fucked up real bad with this. It's shitty and if you actually needed to pay your insurance bills then you'd see how fucked it is.
Regardless of whatever this man has gone through, the sources quoted are not credible (though Fox News did this 'interview'). The Life-News site is one dedicated almost entirely to pro-life news stories, with words like 'abortionist' used in the titles. It's not appropriate and mostly designed to provoke emotional reactions and mislead viewers. Closed.
