Just to tell you, that's a Squier not a Fender. I have a Fender standard Telecaster which I got for £350 and I love it, so if possible I would get one. I got this one but a bit cheaper.

Why not a stratocaster, or a les paul.
Did you look at those before you made your choice.
I'd go with the telecaster. I like the es semi-hollow/hollowbodies (I have an Epiphone Casino myself, which I would recommend).
EDIT:
Just seen that it's actually not a Fender you're going for. In that case, go for the Epiphone.
A telecaster with Seymour Duncans..?
I'd still go for that since it's easily modifiable. That paint job on the epiphpone leaves something to be desired, looks very.. dreary, IMO.
Epiphone wears down too quick and the sounds are a little off.
Idk much about fenders besides that Squiers are the cheap versions of the real deals.
IMO - Save up that extra hundred or more and get the real thing. It'll last you longer and serve you better
I have an Ibanez ARX-320 and its awesome
I'd go with the tele, unless you REALLY want those Gibson "Dirty Fingers" Pickups that come with the Delonge Signiature.
But like Hypno-Toad already said, its much easier to change the pickup in the tele if you don't like them.
teles are for cool people
