The Doors were an American rock band formed in 1965 in Los Angeles, California. Through the majority of its existence, the group consisted of vocalist Jim Morrison, keyboardist Ray Manzarek, drummer John Densmore, and guitarist Robby Krieger. They were among the 1960s most controversial rock acts, due mostly to Morrison's wild, poetic lyrics and charismatic but unpredictable stage persona. After Morrison's death in 1971, the remaining members continued as a trio until finally disbanding for good in 1973.
Although The Doors's active career ended in 1973, their popularity has persisted. According to the RIAA, they have sold over 32.5 million albums in the US alone. The band has sold over 75 million albums worldwide.

One of my top bands as well
The Doord = The Shiz.
I fucking love the doors. When my uncle first moved in here I burned him some of their stuff and he played that and Led Zeppelin III for like 2 weeks straight. Every day.

I officially love that song now, Waiting for the sun is great.
And now I love the Blue Sunday bassline.
Good band if you appreciate the keyboard.

The keyboard has to be one of my favorite things about The Doors. Especially on Take It As It Comes.
Ray had some skills, after Jim Died, not only did he do Organ and Bass Keyboard, but also sang.
like the doors :)
One of the greatest bands ever.
I've always meant to look into The Doors. I like the stuff I've heard on the radio.
They are fucking epic, you can't hear all the awesomeness on the radio.
Take it as it comes is like crack to me now, organ solos ftw.
This band is so goddamn smooth. I fucking love it. Jazz/Blues is such a relax genre but at the same time groovy.
Sometimes in our town some local blues group play music at the bar, shit is so awesome.
Those shits from youtube removed all the high quality videos, updating with what I can find.
I'm in fucking love with that SG Krieger has.
This is the end... my only friend, the end.
Coke, after coke, after coke, after coca cola :)

I tell you we must die,
I tell you we must die.

I got the chance to play a new SG with P90's in it, Similar to that one.
It sounds like god touched it, and the Marshall amp I was playing.
Too bad the fucker is $1000
I think Ive listened to The End at least 15 times today
One of my favorite bands. Every album with Jim Morrison is fantastic, including American Prayer. The other two are good, but they're just not The Doors to me...
One of my life dreams is to learn the organ / keyboard solo from "People Are Strange." My life would then be complete.
