I'm not really into the CoH series because it's so arcadey, but this seems actually pretty cool. I really like strategic sector wrestling campaigns in RTS.
There is a Sega humble bundle coming tomorrow that will include COH stuff make sure to check it out if your interested.
This sounds fucking brilliant, the only thing holding me back is the pricetag. €40's a bit steep for an expansion.
[del]A popular CoH2 streamer is streaming it here http://www.twitch.tv/RomeoCOH2 He's near the end by now though and I dunno how much longer he'll be in it. I'll edit this post when he stops streaming AA regardless.[/del] The stream is over.
I'd really like CoH if it were easier. It's definitely the hardest RTS I've ever played with the possible exception of RUSE or Wargame because you have to plan so many things and know the maps and the units so well in order to be good at the game, with other RTS it's just a matter of Zerg Rushing such as Dawn of War or RUSE or just camping points like in Dawn of War 2.

There's plenty of casual RTS games out there for the people who want to be able to easymode their way through. Let us have 1 or 2 games that require a lot of effort/skill/knowledge. :(
your forgetting men of war
Men of War is hands down the worst rts series I've ever played.
Men of War is hands down the worst rts series I've ever played.
lmao, get real. It's got iffy voice acting (especially the first couple of titles), but god damn if it isn't satisfying and challenging. If anything, CoH is the easy one.
It's got iffy voice acting
Heh, in Assault Squad, I heard American soldiers yelling "for the Motherland!". "Iffy" is an understatement. :v: That being said, the MoW series is really good.
