I will never forget the moment where you can actually knock down the enemy by throwing the bottle at their head, albeit sometimes it will bounce away and the enemy won't even notice it until it breaks.
EDIT: Or you could use a grenade to knock down the enemy instantly. This seriously happened to me, i threw a grenade at the group from the roof, knocked down one guy and then exploded, killing others without any chance to fire back.

The moment? You mean the first time you realize you can do it? Because you can do it all the fucking time.

Jeez calm down man
Are they offering this one in particular because it's the only one that doesn't suffer from broken lighting on modern systems? [sp] and by modern I mean post Windows XP [/sp]

Now I haven't tried since I updated to Windows 10 but I've had no problems with the original three games on Windows 7.
Can I still use it to hack my xbox?

This is Ubisoft. Odds are it's because it's old and not selling well for it and as such no skin off their backs to give it away.
I think this is the weakest one of the original three. Shame that it's so difficult to experience Pandora Tomorrow on modern systems, that would've been a blast.

I would hardly boil it down to that. Undoubtedly this is why the businessmen has no issue with this happening, but this is something companies do all the time and is hardly Ubisoft specific. It makes sense, considering the original Splinter Cell is what made the Ubisoft legacy. It's a throw-back to when they weren't shit.

I would say that it is the weakest only because it is the first.
I've been wanting to replay this game for quite some time. When I first played it I wasn't really into stealth games like I am now. I think I played it in 2008 or something.

It's the weakest but Pandora Tomorrow had plenty of its own problems.
Though I'm still, after 12 years, upset with PT for switching the menu and whistle buttons. It still trips me up. After 12 fucking years.

You made me realize that Chaos Theory was in 2005. Thats more than 10 years ago, holy fuck
I guess I can relate now to the people who were there for original Doom, Wolfenstein etc....
If you guys like Chaos Theory, I would recommend Blacklist. I would NOT buy it full price, because the multiplayer is either dead or broken, but apart from that it's a good enough attempt at going from conviction to the roots, and it's quite fun.

The first Splinter Cell game I actually finished was Conviction.
I recently installed Splinter Cell 1 because I got it in a Humble Bundle way back and I'm in the mood for good stealth and shit if 1 is the weakest of the original 3 I don't even need to play any of the other games to call Conviction the weakest of the series.
It's got Resident Evil syndrome where they faded away from the original concept and ended up with a bastardized action game with some mechanics from the original game and a plotline in the same canon.
Hell, there's even a section where they throw stealth out the window and give you infinite "press a button and kill people" uses so all you need to do is run through the building spamming a button

Can confirm, tried to play it with a friend and it didn't work and we gave up and played Rainbow Six instead.

Conviction is the way it is because the director of the game doesn't like stealth games, he was also the director of Rainbow 6: Vegas. Why you would put someone who doesn't like stealth games as the creative director of a stealth game I'll never know, but they at least listened to the criticism when making Blacklist.
Though Blacklist still suffers from having Convictions action oriented control scheme.

Yeah, Blacklist was good. Not as good as CT, tho. This kind of game does not need such fast pacing.
I wonder if another Splinter Cell is in works.
