No 4th J (eremy Soule), 0/10 wouldn't read article further than the first few lines
What I liked about older games is that the music is so memorable. You don't have that with a lot of modern orchestral soundtracks. [editline]13th January 2013[/editline] Luckily indie titles like Hotline Miami, FTL and Minecraft still carry that spirit. [editline]13th January 2013[/editline] Some big budget titles know their shit too. Deus Ex Human Revolution's soundtrack was amazing. Far Cry 3 has an awesome vibe when you start burning that weed field.

Really, the quantity and quality of decent soundtracks hasn't changed that much, it's just that you're more fond of the old stuff.

The fact that Jeremy Soule wasn't in that list made me quit reading immediately. I mean. Come on! Skyrim, Oblivion, Morrowind, Supreme Commander, Guild Wars, Baldurs Gate, Company of Heroes, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, Total Annihilation. The list goes on.
I myself prefer older music tracks dating as far back as the Commodore 64. [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nf29ShkoAiA[/media]

There will probably be plenty to remember from this decade of gaming too.
