• Anon attacks Australian Gov. Websites
COMPUTER hackers disabled several Australian government websites today in coordinated attacks protesting against a planned internet filter aimed at pornography. The attacks, confirmed by the Attorney-General's Department, crippled Australia's parliamentary website for almost an hour, including the Communications Department, which is pushing a compulsory internet filter for pornography and offensive content. The attacks were launched by hackers aligned with an anti-Church of Scientology group known as "Anonymous." "No government should have the right to refuse its citizens access to information solely because they perceive it to be 'unwanted'," the group said in an email. "The Australian government will learn that one does not mess with our porn."
Source Anon is my hero.
Anon is my hero.
/sigh
4chan did something good for once.
/sigh
Same.
4chan did something good for once.
What about Scientology protests? Or catching pedophiles?
I'm indifferent. I can understand that some people need their porn, and feel that this is taking their liberties away. On the other hand, I loathe Anonymous, not to mention Rule 34 ruined a good amount of my childhood.
Breaking news: Anonymous labeled as terrorist group by Australian government.
They should do something about all the game bans
I'm not sure this will do anything. Anonymous is linked to suplying child pornography so it seems a bit useless for them to protest it.
Anonymous is linked to suplying child pornography so it seems a bit useless for them to protest it.
Source? They've been linked with catching pedophiles.
Where were they when China banned porn? Poor, lonely Asian men...
Soo soo rrrrooonnnrrrreeeeyyyyyy
Australians need porn too.
What about Scientology protests? Or catching pedophiles?
It's just not the same as porn.
Source? They've been linked with catching pedophiles.
Fuck yeah. DON'T MESS WITH OUR PORN
Source? They've been linked with catching pedophiles.
It's not like they all hunt pedophiles. They aren't some sort of collective mind, though it may seem that way at times.
Source? They've been linked with catching pedophiles.
They only do shit like that because they're bored as fuck. The same reason they do anything "good", like getting that one racist radio talk-show personality to stop broadcasting by bugging the loving shit out of him.
'bout time
Gasp! They hacked a government website! Let's ban those too! :downs:
I thought they were bluffing. Huh.
I just know one day, 4chan is going to start a war.
I just know one day, 4chan is going to start a war.
shut up you're stupid
Wasn't this supposed to be on the 20th? Lemme go ask my 4chan informant..
Breaking News: 4Chan is now illegal in Australia.
Breaking news: The internet is now banned in Australia.
Nothing positive will come from this... fucking stupid anons. Edit: If you rate me disagree you're a 12 year old internet script kiddie that think's he's badass for DDoSing a government website. The government is just going to want to ban shit even more because of you. Get the fuck out.
If Australia's new policies are massively unpopular, I don't think they need internet nerds from other countries to tell them that. Live demonstrations would be far more effective in delivering the message.
Watch the Australian Government add 4chan to their blacklist.
Watch the Australian Government add 4chan to their blacklist.
/b/ is already on there
