The study, conducted by the non-partisan Public Religion Research Institute, surveyed Americans by party lines and religious beliefs and asked them what role, if any, God played in the election. According to their research, 45% of Republicans believe God wanted to "Make America Great Again." Only 18% of Democrats agreed. When it came to religion, white evangelical Protestants were the most likely to believe God had a hand in the election. Almost six in 10 responded that God played a "major" role in Donald Trump's victory, while 14% said he played a "minor" role.
SOURCE: http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/31/politics/white-protestant-americans-god-election-trnd/index.html
45% of GOP voters WRONG.
imagine no religion ♪
God rigged the elections!
God has a weird sense of humour.
Trump is a new biblical-type lesson God is teaching us because we've been very naughty. So in a sense, yes he did help him win.
Why would god help a liar. Why would a Christian person think that Trump is an exemplary person in the eyes of their theology. I could understand thinking that he's a poor religious example and an alright politician and voting for him because of that but Trump is the least exemplary Christian I've seen in politics.
My dad is one of these people.. "His mom's name is Mary and his dad's middle name is Christ!"
imagine no religion ♪
Honestly that would be impossible.

God helped Putin too seriously. you can quote me.

Breaking news: Many republicans are religious
Hold up, I'm more curious about the 18% of democrats who agreed here. Who are those people?

Well of course God helped Trump win. God made sure that his followers would give birth to Trump voters.
