• New Computer Build

I'm tired of trying to game on a laptop, and I've recently gotten some money so I'm wanting to build a computer. Basically it's not like I need to play like Crysis on highest settings on anything but something with that kind of power would be nice. I'm mostly going to be playing stuff like CS:S, Gmod, KF, Fallout 3, maybe L4D2, and all that stuff on highish to high settings. I'm just tired of playing on low-normal settings with lag and all that. Also I really want a biggish hard drive since I only have a 50gb on this laptop and I use it up so fast without even having that many games donwloaded at a time, around 500gb should be fine though. Live in U.S. so I was going to buy from Newegg, but if there is a better online place I would change. Also I want it to look pretty cool so I can show off to my friends :P Oh yeah, monitor, keyboard, OS, and all that are covered. And finally the budget! I was looking for around 500$ I could go a little over, but saving money would be great. Also, Merry Christmas!
Newegg are good, i just hate their navigation. Someone posted a really good build, I'll find it. Actually what can you keep ect.?
I really dont have anything to keep for the actual computer, but I got the extras that's pretty much it.
As in Mouse ect?
Yeah, mouse, keyboard, OS, and I have an old monitor, but I'm probably going to buy a new one with all the gift cards I got.

they're for walmart though ;-; do they have good core components there?
