• Audio adapters in remote dekstop

My server is using a virtual audio cable to play music to a specific piece of software, however when I connect to my server with remote desktop they get replaced with a virtual adapter for remote desktop, how can i prevent Windows from doing this?
What version of Windows is it running? Is there no selection to choose what the audio output is?

Right click on the sound icon in the systray and go to "Playback Devices". Then disable the "virtual adapter" and enable the "virtual audio cable".
