Russia has repeatedly denied the claim and pointed the finger at Kiev over the disaster. The Netherlands is leading the official probe into the downing of the Malaysia Airlines jet, in which all 298 on board, including 193 Dutch nationals and 38 Australians, were killed. The Bellingcat investigation states that 'the Buk missile launcher was unloaded in Snizhne approximately three hours before the downing of MH17 and was later filmed minus one missile driving through separatist-controlled Luhansk'. Bellingcat identifies markings on transporters as well as registration details throughout the chronological account. 'Based on the above information the Bellingcat MH17 investigation team concludes that at some point in late June, vehicles that were part of the June 23rd convoy from the 53rd Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade separated.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2827853/Russian-military-supplied-missiles-ahead-MH17-shooting-says-new-independent-report-evidence-points-Russian-separatists-responsible.html Full report in source, with pictures
Paging Muffinzerg to tell us how these pictures dont constitute legitimate evidence.
Paging Muffinzerg to tell us how these pictures dont constitute legitimate evidence.
Shill reporting in. The article says they proved that separatists were in posession of a BUK. That's good I guess. However it's not confirmed that the plane was shot down by a BUK though.
Shill reporting in. The article says they proved that separatists were in posession of a BUK. That's good I guess. However it's not confirmed that the plane was shot down by a BUK though.
I thought a BUK is the only missile capable of being a flying shotgun shell that shreds anything it gets close to, which is the damage shown on various pieces of the wreckage.

Do the fucking math, mate.
oh man; this is pretty crazy considering all of the people who were saying how bullshit all of these "reasons" for why mh17 was shot down in the many previous threads So that video of the buk crossing into russia people were refuting like hell actually ended up being key evidence. doesn't even feel like mh17 happened all the way back in July
The day after the shootdown, the same BUK was spotted with a missile missing, it is right in the OP. Do the fucking math, mate.
That's pretty conviencing, but I would like a ballistics report.
Just so you know "bellingcat" is basically a bunch of freelance hobby analysts. They aren't an intelligence agency or anything. I lean towards believing their report though. https://www.bellingcat.com/news/uk-and-europe/2014/11/08/origin-of-the-separatists-buk-a-bellingcat-investigation/
Now where is WhollyRufus?
The plane was a well constructed myth by the CIA to take away the sovereignty of European nations and blame Russia who is the sole force who can stop the United State's attempts to steal our cereal boxes.
The day after the shootdown, the same BUK was spotted with a missile missing, it is right in the OP. Do the fucking math, mate.
One of the missiles was launched into space as a part of the Novorossian Space Program
The plane was a well constructed myth by the CIA to take away the sovereignty of European nations and blame Russia who is the sole force who can stop the United State's attempts to steal our cereal boxes.
Whenever any event takes place that seems to so perfectly serve the propaganda purposes of western interests, I will never be totally convinced there was not some kind of shenanigans involved. Besides; I wouldn't put too much stock in these "Bellingcat" lot; According to Wikipedia they "investigate current events using open source information such as videos, maps and pictures". That's the kind of thing which led Redditors to post photos of people in the crowds at the Boston Marathon thinking they had identified the bombers, yet it was later revealed not one had picked out either of the Tsarnaev brothers. Also: the founder of "Bellingcat" started out documenting the "crimes" committed by the Assad Regime in Syria, so we've established that he has a history of reporting in ways that are desirable to western governments.
That's pretty conviencing, but I would like a ballistics report.
I know you're just kidding at this point (right?), but on the off-chance you actually weren't, how much further down this would you be willing to go? Next up after that ballistic report is a fully-detailed inventory report on current military stockpiles, followed by investigations of where and when which missile and platform was assembled, logistics convoy dates and timestamps, with pictures of each number plate and registration numbers, along with those of the missiles and factory to produce them, detailed topographical maps of the region in which the factory was located. Oh, and a written confession from Putin just before he dies, laughing on his deathbed as state secrets are made public 40 years later and clearly indicating not only the separatists shooting down MH370, but also Russian involvement in the entire mess, with a sticky-note dated Summer of 2014 saying "lmao hwo stupid can thy be???". Assuming all this comes to pass in some unknowable, mysterious fashion, would you be willing to admit that maybe, just maybe, you were wrong?

[editline]10th November 2014[/editline] guys?
Well he's right they're not exactly a great source. If you wanted to use second rate sources on the matter then the Ukrainian gov have already got a story four you to believe. People on facepunch have access to the same evidence as these guys, you might as well quote a facepuncher in op. Further more to discount everything he said without the slightest bit of consideration for what he actually said just because he's said some loony stuff previously is totally dumb
BREAKING: Putin shows superhuman abilities, denies evidence previously thought 'undeniable'.
I mean let's stop beating around the bush here, somebody shot it down, and the list of suspects aren't very large at all.
To be fair, if people are going to cry about RT being used as a source, The Daily Mail should not be counted as a legitimate source either. Just Sayin
To be fair, if people are going to cry about RT being used as a source, The Daily Mail should not be counted as a legitimate source either. Just Sayin
Wrong thread? We were discussing some other source https://www.bellingcat.com/ they published a report but they have access to the same information as you or me so I guess their word is as good as any of ours (less if one of us works for a government or something) I like what they are doing provided they are free of bias its just they don't hold much legitimacy beyond "here are some pictures you have seen already" "we are going to use the evidence everyone has access to, to create an undeniable claim which no government can reliably produce using the same/more data"
