Patrick Moote faced public humiliation when his girlfriend rejected his proposal in front of a stadium full of UCLA basketball fans, and it got even worse when a video of the incident went viral on YouTube.
But even that wasn't even the worst part. When Moote asked her later why she didn't want to marry him, she said the thing no man ever wants to hear -- his penis was too small.
The botched proposal bruised Moote's ego, but he told HuffPost Live's Nancy Redd that his girlfriend's dissatisfaction with his size wasn't completely out of the blue.
"It's not like I didn't know that it was kind of a problem. I see my penis every day, so I was kind of aware of what was going on," he said.
After he recovered from the initial shock of being rejected, Moote started to think about how penis size is an issue that every man worries about but no one wants to discuss publicly. He decided to change that by making a "cockumentary" called "Unhung Hero," which documents his efforts to lengthen his member through pumps, pills and myriad zany methods.

Seriously? You say no to marrying a dude because his dick doesn't meet your standards? That's just an asshole thing to do.
He lucked out.
Anyone who thinks dick size is enough of a reason to not marry someone shouldn't be getting married in the first place.

id say that depends, maybe its both his size and how he uses it

On one hand, sexual satisfaction is important in a relationship. On the other, god gave us sex toys and fingers, they could get creative.

People say it's an incredibly shallow thing, but to be honest, I think it's understandable. If his penis size was affected their sex life that much, then they'd have a terrible sex life. Sex isn't everything, but it's a big thing. What was shallow and an asshole thing was never bringing it up, and this being the first time she mentions it. I think her problem is understandable, but her timing is inexcusable.
shallow bitch
Eh, sexual compatibility is pretty important in a relationship. It still throws into question though how honest people generally are about that sort of thing.
He probably died on the inside when he heard her utter the words about his dick being too small to marry him.
Sex means alot to some people; shallow as it may seem. Like others have said he's lucky she told him now rather then go off fucking another dude later in the marriage because she was unsatisfied with him.
I can't help but laugh at the thought of a 'cockumentary'
shallow bitch
To be honest it depends on whether it was "ew he has a tiny dick" or "we're not compatible because of this". I wouldn't outright call her shallow on this.
Either that or she didn't want to marry someone who made a documentary about his dick, in which I totally understand.
shallow bitch
Actually, quite the opposite.
why is there a picture of Nathan Verhelst on the OP instead of Patrick Moote?
I've seen that picture somewhere...
ok how small are we talking here
this is meaningless without dimensions

Sexually satisfying someone in a relationship is pretty important. Would you want to be married to someone who couldn't satiate you sexually in appearance or the bedroom? Love isn't this mystical force that powers happy couples, its orgasms.

Last I checked, dicks can't do fancy clitoris maneuvers the fingers can do.

What a depressing life for a guy when they could only use their fingers in sex.

Most of facepunch only use their hands anyways.
Should have told him in the beginning of the relationship. Not only has she humiliated the man, she also wasted his time with an always-doomed relationship. Life is short; meaningful relationships take time to bloom. I can't stand people that waste others time like that.

Wooo that's depressing reading there. Looks like those guys hit the hard rocky bottom of "size doesn't matter", where "when the size doesn't matter, better get good at oral" resides.

Right, marry a guy you don't find attractive enough because he can use his fingers.
Why not use a cucumber as well?

Maybe she was okay with him, she liked him? But just about not enough to marry him. Maybe she didn't expect him to propose. Especially, in a way he did. What else she had to do but to turn him down and later explain?
I miss thisispain coming in here and making these threads 10 pages. Now they die before page 2.

Because you can use a cucumber without the guy who can use his fingers? Or is it like, he can be better with cucumber than she is?

Is this true though. I mean let's think about our 50-60 year old parents.
