Uhm, the Wii remote uses infrared... At least, that's what I thought.
Nope. Apparently it also uses Bluetooth. You know those sounds that come out of your Wii Remote when playing certain games? I think that's where the Bluetooth comes in.
Looking at tutorials, you should be able to just download the drivers - Bluesoleil is a dongle for bluetooth. Even so, you should really only need a bluetooth manager, and if there isn't one on your computer already, maybe you don't have bluetooth? Follow the tutorials to connect the wiiremote just using the standard windows bluetooth manager (Assuming you're using windows :V) Then use this: http://glovepie.org/glovepie_download.php
If I didn't have Bluetooth there wouldn't be a file transfer manager and a big sticker on this thing saying "BLUETOOTH 3.0 8X FASTER THEN BT2.1" And where would I get drivers? I don't see them anywhere.

My acer laptop has bluetooth stickers, a dedicated bluetooth switch, bluetooth logos on the box - but no actual bluetooth card.

And I can't find the normal Bluetooth manager. It might be because I upgraded from Windows 7 Starter? [editline]7th March 2011[/editline] Automerge noooooo
What happens if you open the control panel and search for 'bluetooth'? Should be something coming up under devices and printers.
