• Videos becoming pixelated at certain areas?

Hello, So recently I've been having a problem with Youtube videos. They'll suddenly drop a full quality during high-action parts without any notice (an example of "high-action part" would be this video at 1:00-1:04). This is a recent problem and it's become very annoying. I don't think it's a problem with a certain video, because nearly all the videos I watch do it. (Note that only youtube videos do this, stuff like twitch.tv is usually fine). This has become very infuriating recently. Any tips? I'm on all the latest drivers.

And like all the other problems with Youtube at the moment, its probably Google's fault, not yours. However, running the videos in HTML5 might fix it.
That happens to me as well. And like all the other problems with Youtube at the moment, its probably Google's fault, not yours.
All right. I had a hunch it was youtube's fault. EDIT: Nope, HTML5 didn't work.
It's happening to me too, even on mobile. I just rewind the video a few seconds and it (usually) fixes itself.
Youtube automatically scales quality up/down based on your internet now, if it has trouble keeping up(during high action scenes where a lot changes really fast) it will downscale the quality AFAIK there's nothing you can do about it, but pausing and manually setting the quality to something before starting the video might help
