Nutrition, what is? Nutrition is simple, what are you putting in your mouth, is it going to help you reach your goals? Is it fitting into your macros? How much Protein? How many Calories? And so on.

If you can't read these, you aren't getting ANYWHERE and you will fail at fitness.
Bulking and Cutting
Bulking means you are eating 500-1000 calories MORE than your maintenance, i.e if it's 2300, you should eat about 3000.
Does this mean 3000 in donuts? NO It means 3000 calories and probably 140-240g protein PER DAY.
Cutting means your eating about 500-1000 calories LESS than your maintenance, again if it's 2300, try at 1700 a day.
PAY VERY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO PROTEIN DURING THIS.
These sessions should last for about 4-6 months at a time, depending on allot of different factors.
SODA
Soda, should you drink it? Yes and No, if it fits into your macros, then you can, but there are better things for you to consume, soda, is 100% sugar, and just not good for you in general.
Diet Soda? YES you can drink this when the fuck ever, don't give the aspartame bullshit, it hasn't been proved to cause cancer, and no, it won't make you fat, it hs 0 calories.
0 Capice?!
Now, back to the bulking thing, there is dirty bulking, and then there is clean bulking.
Dirty bulking, means eating everything in sight, not taking into account what you are consuming, and just assuming your getting enough protein/calories.
This is P dumb.
Clean bulking is having a good grasp on how much protein is in the food, and making sure you don't eat to much or to little, on a clean bulk you should be eating Lean white cuts of meat, some red meat is fine to.
Vitamins, in my opinion don't bother reading the labels of your food to see if there's enough vitamins, Just buy a good Multi - V, and your good to go.
Carbs, you need carbs to grow, they promote muscle growth, SO FUCKING EAT CARBS, don't try and do the atkins shit, if your on a cut, and your getting 1700 calories and enough protein the carbs will take care of them self, it's simple math.
Understand that CALORIES come from , fats, protein, sugar, so realize if your eating a 200 calorie snack, and its loaded with carbs, you can bet there is almost jack shit for protein in it, if your eating a 200 calorie snack with alot protein, it will still have carbs, but alot less. This is an example of a VERY good nutritional value.

[release]A study presented at a American Diabetes Association meeting this week shows that drinking diet soda is associated with a wider waist in humans. And a second study shows that aspartame -- an artificial sweetener in diet soda -- actually raises blood sugar in mice prone to diabetes. [/release]
[release]Researchers found that the diet soda drinkers had waist circumference increases of 70 percent greater than those who non-diet soda drinkers. And people who drank diet soda the most frequently -- at least two diet sodas a day -- had waist circumference increases that were 500 percent greater than people who didn't drink any diet soda, the study said.
Artificial sugar didn't produce any better results in the second study in mice. Researchers for this study found that diabetes-prone mice that were fed a diet that included aspartame for three months, had higher blood glucose levels than mice not given aspartame.
This isn't the first news illuminating diet soda's health risks. A study published earlier this year found people who drink the beverage every day have a higher stroke and heart attack risks. And UK researchers found earlier this month that sugary drinks can dull taste buds, leading consumers to crave the sweet stuff even more. [/release]
That is a terrible fucking study.
It's not even taking into consideration a slew of other factors. Jesus come on zeke.
yeah i work at the movies, half the people who order diet coke are ginormous fatasses who also order a large poutine, large popcorn, and a pretzel with extra butter and cheese. The soda isn't whats increasing their waist size lmao.
