• Can I use my onboard card alongside my graphics card?

I have a 9600 GSO, and three monitors. I have two connected to the card, and I have 3 more onboard (HD 3200 integrated into motherboard) connections. Can I use the onboard as a medium for more monitors? Sorry about all the threads. You guys give great answers.
Most of the time no, when a dedicated card is detected the onboard is automatically disabled. I have come across a couple motherboards that do allow both the integrated and dedicated cards to display but I wouldn't count on your motherboard supporting that. Why don't you just try connecting more monitors yourself and see if it works?
There is such a thing as hybrid crossfire/sli but thats only for lower end graphics cards that need a boost from the onboard one And you won't be able to do it with an nvidia graphics card and an ati onboard anyway
My boss has dual monitors, one runs on onboard and one is a shit PCI card, so it's possible but probably all depends on the motherboard. Have you tried just plugging in all the monitors like M2k3 wrote?
