gotta go with the pro personally
roughly the size of the N64 controller and the handles have a similar shape. SO comfortable. But no analogue triggers.
i love the ps3 controller, but the thumbsticks are a bit weird to me
i've heard the ps4 controlleris a lot better than the ps3's and it has improved thumbsticks though

the xbox controller is comfortable but the d-pad is atrocious and the batteries sometimes get dislodged when i'm playing a game, and that blows
classic controller pro for 2D games, and gamecube controller for 3D games. the wiimote and nunchuk can also be pretty good for certain games.

be creative
The powerglove, assuming that it counts as a controller.
so uhh

Hold it via some strings attached to the roof, than some more holding it to the ground, so that it won't move, than just poke the buttons/thumb sticks as the need arises
Gamecube controller is probably the most comfortable controller I've ever used.
YES!!!
I agree with that. alot.

This is my favorite controller in general. It's layout for all the buttons and joysticks are highly efficient, and the way it's shaped and rests in your hands makes this the most comfortable controller I've ever owned.
With that said, it does have flaws. I personally like the L and R triggers and their ability to have 3 separate states of being held down (gently pressed, hard press, and held down to click), but these triggers can be worn out. The D-pad is small, sharp, and hard, it's inefficient as movement control but still useful for selection of inventory items. The C-stick is not the same quality as the main joystick, and is harder to control. The X and B button could not be held down simultaneously due to the layout (I however view this as a non-issue, because no game ever required you to).
If Nintendo remade the Gamecube controller with the same layout but with higher quality buttons, d-pad and joysticks, they would have an extremely unique and iconic controller for their brand that that like the Xbox and Playstation controllers does not rely on an obscure gimmick to make itself memorable.
one of my asshole friends gets butthurt every time I mention the xbox controller. He thinks it's the worst controller. He doesn't really understand it's a matter of opinion, plus he's been using a playstation all his life, as opposed to me and my other friends using xbox. Well I'm glad at least some people on facepunch agree with me
Oh and to anyone who refers me to the WiiU classic controller since I like the Gamecube one, I really fucking despise the layout for the joysticks and the d-pad, and I don't like the new L and R triggers. It looks like a cheap merge of the worst from the 360 controller with the worst of the Ps3 controller.
