I just got this idea. Post the cars you've owned, or just driven, and really want to drive around in again.
Not cars you currently drive, but cars you used to drive.
For me it's the Jeep Cherokees that I used to own, the Volvo V70, and the Volvo 240 wagon that I drove in driving school.
I could also mention the Ssangyong Rodius van (belive it or not, it was nice to drive :v:) that I used on the job where I were picking up car parts for a body shop.
I need pics too I suddenly realize:

I enjoyed driving a Jensen Interceptor III. Perfect suspension tuning, great turning radius, and that awesome 7.2L Chrysler V8 sound. The speedo would read 0 while accelerating, then flip wildly past 100 and finally settle at your actual speed when you let off the gas. Steering feel was nonexistent. It was my doctor's car; he wanted my family to buy it, but we declined :(
Yeah those used Chrysler power steering systems which are notorius for having almost too good of power, they have no feel at all and are really easy to turn.
My grand am
give em hell, buddy ;_;7
The first car I practised driving on (courtesy, uh, technically illegal driving lessons given by my dad) when I was a kid, the Daihatsu Applause.
I know it's funny and people might think the car was shit, but after I started driving my current car (Suzuki Swift) I realized how peppy that old applause engine used to be. It had the blandest interior, the rear headlamps used to let water in when it rained, but in my mind it felt so much more responsive than the car I currently drive, despite this being the newer one.

My brother owned two different ones while I grew up, and it was literally the first car I ever drove.
Dream car for sure, I wish I had money to own a TT car
I miss driving my S2000 for sure, but I got an even cooler Supra to replace it.
I miss our old TJ wrangler base model, we took it out every other weekend to 4x4 and it was the first car I ever drove, manual and all. We flooded the engine with water, jumped it and got good air, covered it in mud, it got T-boned twice and just kept going without ever getting totaled.
We ended up selling it because we ran the soft top all winter and it was just too cold, we bought a newer Wrangler (2007) and it was a hunk of junk, instantly died and never ran right again after we flooded that engine with water, even after a engine swap.

Exactly like that just with out the roof rack and hood bra.

A 6-speed 2006 GTO. It was the first of the cars I test drove to when I was shopping around to replace my 5-speed accord. The 400/400 hp/tq of the LS2 was unforgettable, especially coming from 160/140 of the Honda.
I also test drove a 07 mustang GT afterwards and frankly, it felt slow :v:
too bad it was sold before I could buy it, and all the other GTOs in my area were stupid expensive.
I'll have a v8 one day..

We have an identical one, but my friend had one of these that was an absolute blast to drive. He'd done something to the suspension to remove the 'neony' feel of the original, and the 2.4l turbo is actually quite quick.
I miss the 300CE and the E38.
First car, and fastest car.
The E66 is just not as quick as the E38 with the sport package.

Ahh, the Durango. It was my first car, it had a 5.9l v8 and got 11-13 mpg on the best of days. It sounded pretty fucking sweet though, and was super huge inside.

I miss my DAL...
:'(
This thread will be filled with sadness.
I miss both my Miata's. Seriously, there's nothing that just feels like a Miata does, such a superb connection with the road.

My dads '87 Monte Carlo SS, it didn't run for nearly a year until I realized it was the solenoid and got it started...after he'd passed away of cancer.
Do you still have it? I fuckin' love G body carlos. Thats one's got T tops too, mmmmmm
I don't, I only got it up and running again then it went to my mother when I moved out of state. She continues to maintain and drive it fortunately.

11 gt premium, had the cashew stripe in the seats, 5.0 6 speed with 3.73 grears and the big shaker system, roush exhaust and lowering springs. put over 2k miles on this car, pulled over twice.
My brother's AU series Ford Fairlane which I drove every now and then from the period of time I received my provisional driver's licence till I got my first car. It's a damn boat of a car and being an extended wheelbase large sedan it's hard to park as well, but damn did its 4.0L I6 sound (and go) good. Very comfortable to drive, and it's so roomy.
He still has it but I have my own car now and I don't live with him anymore.
I miss owning a cheap banger I didn't give a shit about.
All that drunken hooning I've done.
[editline]14th November 2013[/editline]
I don't miss the drunk driving, but the hooning though.

...just buy one? :v:
...just buy one? :v:
I'm pretty much broke and I can't afford the required insurance and road tax for another car.
I don't really have a private place I can drive or park it if I decide not to pay that.
Otherwise I would buy one in a heartbeat.
old fucking 4wd manual station wagon corolla with a 4a-fe
there was rust holes everywhere but that thing was fun in the winter
[thumb]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/de/1988-1992_Toyota_Corolla_%28AE95R%29_XL_station_wagon_02.jpg[/thumb]
it was rustywhite color
but I loved it, you could lock the central diff with the push of a button (it wouldn,t unlock until the diff got hot)
It was only for one of those test drive for charities, luckily I knew the test driver so once we were out of sight, he let me really wind it up. It was only 30 minutes, but they almost needed to pry my hands off the wheel with a crowbar. I can safely say that this is the bastard offspring between a fire breathing monster and jet fighter.
One 2007 Boss GT Mustang with the 302, hood scoop, black racing stripe, and all the accessories.
