Two men allegedly robbed the restaurant, and one of them stabbed a 21-year-old woman, a shift manager, multiple times, Kenner Police Department spokesman Lt. Brian McGregor said. The two men then fled to a waiting vehicle. Police believe at least three people were involved in the incident, McGregor said.

Update, 9:50 a.m. The 21-year-old shift manager stabbed during an armed robbery at a Kenner Raising Cane’s has died, Jefferson Parish Coroner Dr. Gerry Cvitanovich confirmed.
I was literally at this location for lunch two days ago. Really eerie to think I may have spoken with her during her final days.
I hope they catch them soon, this is terrible.
Jesus Christ. Robbery is one thing, but to stab and kill a fucking fast food manager is disgusting.
Those Canes managers are like mini celebs at their own stores. Goddamn I know the story is morbid, but now I gotta get some of that sauce and chicken. It's like crack how good their sauce is.

Where is this? Literally never heard of Raising Canes [editline]29th June 2016[/editline] Whoops it's in the damn url
Massive update. Police believe the suspect was a former employee.
deputies believe Joshua Every, the 23-year-old suspect in the killing of a Raising Cane's manager early Wednesday, was a former employee at the restaurant. Every was identified as a suspect by other employees who recognized him, The chief said that surveillance captured the entire robbery. Detectives believe that as 21-year-old Taylor Friloux and another employee exited the rear of the store to dispose of trash, Every and another man approached her with a knife. Friloux was stabbed once outside the restaurant, then forced inside to open a safe. Investigators believe that on his way out of the restaurant, Every stabbed Friloux several more times. "No one's going to be able to convince me that the motive was just pure robbery when you stab a 21-year-old girl."
The website's not letting me copy paste anymore so I'm just typing this out at this point.
What a sicko. Hope they get him soon and make him responsible for his actions.
What a sicko. Hope they get him soon and make him responsible for his actions.
I hope he's not some mentally-ill person that's incapable of accepting responsibilities.

It's been said that the suspect also attempted to rob a nearby GameStop location in 2012.
Fucker should stay locked in a dark cell for the rest of his life.
Fucker should stay locked in a dark cell for the rest of his life.
No, he shouldn't lol. What's up with everyone overreacting when shit likes this hits the news?
No, he shouldn't lol. What's up with everyone overreacting when shit likes this hits the news?
I think because it shows that the man who did this, if he was an ex-employee of Raising Cane's, had the premeditated idea of homicide in his mind when he went to hold it up. The man stabbed her once when he and his accomplices laid in wait around back and then when she opened the safe decided to kill her despite her being compliant and being no threat to them. Such action; Such cruelty surely deserves the prospect of rotting in jail for life. I do make the distinction between those who can be rehabilitated and those who can't, and this man is certainly of the former instead of the latter. And it's much better that people would promote the idea of life imprisonment, for (although it sounds edgy as fuck) I would actually promote a soft, efficient and painless execution by suffocation and overdose of N20. I feel no remorse for the people who act out in such a premeditated way when there's countless other people; other folk who haven't done wrong or don't want any ill-will done to them or others in their life.
No, he shouldn't lol. What's up with everyone overreacting when shit likes this hits the news?
He killed someone with deliberate fucking malice. The fuck is wrong with you.
He killed someone with deliberate fucking malice. The fuck is wrong with you.
Letting him rot in a dungeon and throwing away the key for a mistake is obviously the best option! lmao /s He hasn't even had a trial yet and you're ready to execute him, what's wrong with you? What happened to innocent until proven guilty. What. The Fuck.
It wasn't a mistake, as eyewitnesses corroborated.
see what happened was I mistakenly stabbed someone multiple times after committing the robbery cause I was mistaken about what knives do when you stab people with them, my bad
No one even said executed, so not only did you not read, but your entire premise is full of bullshit. Try again.
Fuck, I'm a year older than she was. I feel sorry for her family

The Fuck.
pretty sure you're not innocent if you're caught in the act of doing it like literal first hand proof or second hand? since it was a camera but still proof so yeah you ride your high horse
Letting him rot in a dungeon and throwing away the key for a mistake is obviously the best option! lmao /s He hasn't even had a trial yet and you're ready to execute him, what's wrong with you? What happened to innocent until proven guilty. What. The Fuck.
You just jumped from someone wanting him to serve a life term, to claiming that they said he should be executed. At least try to be a little more subtle when you're taking the moral high ground in defense of a sadistic murderer who has been placed at the scene by a security camera. Seriously, man, find a cause to believe in, that'll make you feel good inside and will probably help someone who deserves it, too.
He killed someone with deliberate fucking malice. The fuck is wrong with you.
innocent until proven guilty. Also people can change
innocent until proven guilty. Also people can change
He was proven guilty the moment a security camera caught him doing it.
innocent until proven guilty. Also people can change
They can change, but by letting them out of prison you risk another innocent life being taken. You best have a mental illness that can be cured because otherwise you shouldn't have done it to begin with. [editline]1st July 2016[/editline] Apparently the CEO of Raising Cane's called the victim's family and said that they will cover for all funeral expenses. Just saw it on TV. That's really great.
How are there still people that defend murderers?
How are there still people that defend murderers?
It's a bizarre case of trying to take the moral high ground, I think. It's just that their "high ground" is in a swamp like fifty feet lower than everyone else, and they're only standing there to feel like they're fighting the big bad oppression.

Fuck off, he's guilty and a piece of shit with no regard for human life.
How are there still people that defend murderers?
they don't care about the murderer's life or morality as a whole, they'll just take any opportunity possible to feel superior to someone else
