• How many hours are you spending infront of your computer?

This poll should be based on computer usage each day. Also what do you tend to do while you're on the computer?
Programming, 3d Modelling, Gaming and Reading - probably upwards of 6 hours a day. Maybe more. It's on all day, I know that.
If it's a day I don't leave my house, 10+ hours easily. If I do fuck if I know.
Since we do all school work on laptops in school, I'd say 10+ easily. Unless you mean home computer, in which case only some 4-6 hours.
10 hour+, Since I'm doing a IT course basicly. And gaming at home ofcourse.
Too much. We are required to use laptops etc in class, so thats a couple of hours. Plus when I get home I tend to spend several hours if theres nothing else to do.
I voted 10 or more cause over 9000 hours wasn't an option.
My job requires me to sit at a computer for around 7 hours a day, 5 days a week. Do I count those, or do you mean my personal computer when you say "your computer"? This is actually pretty hard for me, because my computer usage varies a lot. I have no idea what the average would be. I think I once spent 12 hours of a day on various computers (including work), but then again, yesterday I spent about 10mins checking emails and that was about it. I can go days without turning one on, and some days I do nothing else. I just realised that I've spent my mid-morning coffee break sat on my computer, looking at FP and saying that I spend too long on a computer.
Stop making excuses with school work we all know your watching truck tonnes of porn. My PC is on all day cause I errr listen to music all day.
my job is sitting on a computer so 8 hours or more
Way too fucking much either drawing, playing games or browsing
Im talking about computer time overall, so it doesnt matter for what purpose or location. Also thanks for voting and commenting.
6 hours at school (only time we don't use our machines at school is the 30 minute recess, where most people stay on the computer anyway. When I come home it's not much more then 4 hours though. Most of my Facepunch posts and Internet activities are from school. Like this post here.
Depends. On fridays and saturdays, if I'm not out doing things, it will be around five to six hours. On all other days it's 2-4 hours. I used to be way worse, 8-9 hours on weekdays, god knows how many on weekends.
Isn't this poll influenced by the fact that people who spend more hours on the computer are more likely to vote
I spend my time not helping kids do their homework.
why is this poll gender-specific
why is this poll gender-specific
Because op is a sexist faget
I use a computer at work, 8 hours a day. Then I usually game/develop/watch movies infront of my own PC at home for a few more hours. So 10+ :pwn:
I spend 20 hours in front of my computer. 4 remaining hours are when I am asleep, fall off my computer chair and spend the rest of the night on the floor.
Shit I voted female! Wups.
8-10 hours. I usually script, animate, or game.
Depends, some days i spend the whole day infront of my computer. Some days i don't even have time to turn it on.
From Monday to Friday I spend no time on the PC (heavy studies). On the weekends, I'm pretty much always on it making something in Hammer, Softimage, Photoshop or After Effects.
4 hours. Sometimes it easily climbs to more, but I prefer not to spend more than a quarter of a day in front of the screens.
I TELL myself I'm going to do some Modeling or animation, most of the time I just end up playing games instead.
Thanks to a magical thing called "job" my PC-hours PLUMMETED to 4-5 hours a day. On weekends if I don't go anywhere, it's closer to 10 hours though. :v:
why is this poll gender-specific
Since it seem's like there is a difference with computer usage between the gender's.
Well those are some typical results.
From when i'm home from school until i go to bed.
