Just been informed by Scientology lawyers that Scientology is working on a documentary about me. Little bit excited; little bit nervous.
Is scientology still a thing? Who hasnt learned that theyre complete bullshit by now?
Is scientology still a thing? Who hasnt learned that theyre complete bullshit by now?
Quite a lot of people are still wrapped up in it, HBO just had a documentary about it.
I kinda wish people would take scientology more seriously. A lot of people seem to think it's just some silly little cult but they actually have a frightening amount of influence and have an actual policy to attack anyone who criticizes them.
Yeah plus owning a ridiculous amount of real estate.
Can someone give me a TL;DR for what Scientology believes because I hear about it so much but I'm too lazy to look it up
Can someone give me a TL;DR for what Scientology believes because I hear about it so much but I'm too lazy to look it up
From what I've heard: Thousands of years ago, an alien warlord called Xenu took a race of aliens and threw them into a volcano, and their ashes became the human race.
From what I've heard: Thousands of years ago, an alien warlord called Xenu took a race of aliens and threw them into a volcano, and their ashes became the human race.
that's crazy but also awesome
Why? He hasn't even done a documentary on them, what's the point? Scaring him away?
From what I've heard: Thousands of years ago, an alien warlord called Xenu took a race of aliens and threw them into a volcano, and their ashes became the human race.
The crazy is also in the details. Hubbard insisted those aliens looked and lived very much like 1950s America, the spacecraft used to transport them looked exactly like a particularly ubiquitous jet plane of the era, and that it's because the radioactive alien souls retain those memories of their life that America was shaped the way it was in the 50s.

I'd say in about 10 years they'll be totally defunct and file for bankruptcy (since they are a business after all).

I think the reason they're pissed is because Louis' making another documentary about the church, or he's just generally snooping. I saw this video posted on Reddit a year ago of some scientologists harassing an ex-scientologist, and at about the 15 second mark he can hear Louis arrive. You can actually see him on camera near the end. I hope he does make another documentary, because these guys are fucking nuts.
Character assassination time?

On the practical side, instead of giving people medical attention you should wave your hands around them, tell them everything's gonna be fine, steal their money and dump them in a bathtub filled with boiling hot water when they disagree (this actually happened).
Scientology's new documentary, "Louis Theroux is a Top Cunt" coming summer 2016.

I wish some rich company would just beat them at every court case. When fighting those assholes patience is key.

A corporation isn't going to risk their only reason for existing just to mess with Scientology.
Can someone give me a TL;DR for what Scientology believes because I hear about it so much but I'm too lazy to look it up
The back story for Stargate but more boring and less plausable.
Louis Theroux is the best documentary maker of this century, only this man can be informative and awkward at the same time [t]http://i.imgur.com/sQglwcs.jpg[/t]

Scientology is also violently opposed to modern psychiatry and medicine and instead pushes a bullshit alternative called Dianetics which is based on the idea of giving them all your money and secrets while they blackmail you and measure your electrical conductivity.
Is scientology still a thing? Who hasnt learned that theyre complete bullshit by now?
Who hasn't learned that all religions are?
Who hasn't learned that all religions are?
The thing is though, religion is tied to most people's life and psyche. You do a lot of damage if you tell someone that their decease loved ones aren't watching over them and when they die they'll just be flesh rotting away. I hate to spout the ignorance is bliss argument, but if someones religion isn't causing negativity and isn't effecting you directly in an undesired way it doesn't matter what they believe in. Scientology does cause negativity and creates severe dependence. If someone's religion is giving them peace (whether or not it's bullshit) you can't throw a cold bucket of water in their face because you think you know better.
The thing is, scientology isn't a religion, it's a corporation group that preys upon the mentally ill, and advises them not to seek psychiatric help. They also enslave children and were responsible for infiltrating and blackmailing the IRS until they gave scientology tax exemption status. Oh, and also the murders are fucked up to read.

My grandpa committed suicide and as a result, my dad always worries about whether my grandpa is going to hell. I'd rather just believe my relatives cease to be when they die than worry about whether they go to heaven or hell.
Is scientology still a thing? Who hasnt learned that theyre complete bullshit by now?
What, like Christianity and Islam?
The biggest mistake was making them tax exempt for being a "religion". If they didn't, Scientology would have been bankrupt to hell and back from all the fines slapped on them for owning a massive, empty building.

It's like trusting yourself to fate, some "Jesus take the wheel!" stuff. As if people just went "oh I'll be ok/I was ok because X is watching over me". I don't know, that sentiment seems extremely bad to me. I have no idea how people like to think that way, but thats just my opinion. My advice is always "dont think about it too much"
I dunno, if you seriously can't cope with human mortality you should probably do something about it.
Like what?
Buddha ism doesn't believe in divine punishment.
These cunts must be stopped, blackmailing people who don't agree or like their glorified scam is against the law, not only that, they trick people into telling them their deepest secrets then hold them hostage using their secrets against them. The people behind this should be hold responsible, and justice righteously served. Swine of the earth, Satan shits and these guys gobble it all up then regurgitate it into the mouths of their gullible followers. We need to revive Florian Geyer, he'll fix those fuckwads fast.
