• Network adapter LAN option missing

i go to fix my wired connection but only the wireless driver is there I disable it thinking it will work it doesn't in device manager the Ethernet is missing any fixes? Was working fine this morning until a power cut the ethernet driver was there i don't know if a power surge could of come through and killed my Ethernet port but that wont uninstall the driver Motherboard is gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. P67A-UD3-B3 (Socket 1155) these are the adapters it displays [IMG]http://niggaupload.com/images/Ms1d.png[/IMG]
Go to Right clikc computer > Properties > Advanced systems settings > Hardware > Device manager. If your LAN works it will show up in there, if not then according to the computer it doesn't exist at all. (broken)
It is also possible that it may be turned off in the BIOS.
Turns out was fried took it into my local store and got them to add a new netcard
