• Build Check (~$1400 budget)

Hi, this will be my first build, I figured I've put up with this dieing laptop for long enough and should get a good computer for gaming and senior year of high school + college (so I want it to be pretty future-proof). Right now I plan on going into programming so my computer should be able to handle that. I'm from the US and will probably use Newegg. I currently play just Warcraft III, but I'd like to get into some FPS games (I have Unreal Tournament 3, which I don't have high enough specs for on this laptop). I've been researching for a few weeks now (after looking at prebuilts) and have looked at many similar posts on these forums but still wanted to check compatibility, etc. on the build I plan on purchasing very soon :D. All I have right now is a new keyboard and mouse, so now I need a computer with Windows 7, Microsoft Office, a monitor, and speakers. Here's a wishlist that I've come up with based on looking around this forum and searching Newegg: http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=9208689 (totals ~$1200 without a monitor) I was wondering if everything in that list is compatible and would suit my needs for 5+ years (with upgrades along the line if necessary). The RAM says it's for a P55 motherboard but the motherboard I added to the list is H55, is that okay? I'm also not sure about the PSU. I probably won't overclock or crossfire soon. That list doesn't include a monitor and I think I'd also like a mic and/or a webcam so if you could suggest for either of those that would be great. I'd be willing to spend $200-$300 for a monitor. Thanks!
