Making fun of MMO's when you have over 600+ hours in Garry's Mod alone.

Compared to most of these dudes here with 2000+
Having played actual D&D, I would say this is more or less a virtual version of D&D 4e. That said, I dislike 4e since it feels like an MMO, and if I want to play D&D as an MMO, I will play this. The game itself isn't all that bad.

Pathfinder is better anyway..
Yeah it's really quite fun. It's the ONLY mmo I've ever played where a thief character was actually useful. You rely on them to pick locks, deactivate really hard traps, and scout around when playing on higher difficulties since you can get your shit wrecked easily.
This is definitely a fun MMO.

Pathfinder was actually my first tabletop :v:
Having now played 4e and 3.5e, I must say that I like Pathfinder the most. It is the 3.75e that never was.
I've been wanting to check this out, and I've only played D&D once (Or maybe it was pathfinder?), but I like the turn-based thing that D&D has.
Not so sure how much I'll like this...
It's a weird MMO, to be honest.
using actual dice rolls in a MMO is in my opinion very weird.
so the game is based on hack and slash but with dice rolls meaning that you can miss a lot due to having shit luck.
Should probably get back into it. My account is a veteran account so any new character I create starts at level 4, which is nice considering the leveling system in this game is slow as balls
The combat plays a bit like Morrowind, with far less misses
Didn't they make it so you have to pay (or grind really hard / beg for a 'ticket' or somesuch) to do dungeons on later levels? I played this a while ago but never got far with it
I'm currently playing the game along with vindictus, and I got to say that I hate these misses on my barbarian, could it be that i need to find a way to add in more bonuses for my attack hit or something? I also don't like how I can't find the right gear for my barbarian besides stuff that could be tank-ish.
I'm a little late but this game is actually very fun, and well balanced. Having played paper DnD myself, the stats and characters and such are close to the real thing. And it's done free to play very well, there is no pay to win.
This game is incredible with friends who like to role play as well.

I think misses have to do a lot with your weapon, weapon proficiencies, and other traits/skills. I haven't played in a while, so I don't really remember though.
