• My nose just bled furiously. Why?

I figured people mostly got nosebleeds when they get hit really hard in the nose or something like that... I just woke up from a nap, my nose felt runny, then blood started dripping on my hands. I used up tissue after tissue to soak up all the blood, wondering when it would ever end. What the hell could have caused me to have this spontaneous nosebleed? Does it mean I'm severely sick or something?
Where do you live, it could be tied with a change in humidity.
Knoxville, Tennessee. I've had some kind of a cold/flu disease the past week too... But a nosebleed has never been a symptom of those diseases for me. Does that ever really happen to people?
Your brain couldn't take it anymore, and it turned emo, and cut itself, the blood just happened to come out your nose.
Maybe it was the sudden change in blood pressure in your head from getting up. I don't know. It's happened to me before after taking naps in the afternoon. Is it hot there?
I think you also bleed when catching a cold or something along those lines. edit: quickly panic (god damnit I hate it when Automerge breeaks)
Remember kids just say no to drugs
-snip- fffff my automerge
You got the swine flu, you'll die
Was the change in pressure. Don't worry about it.
some times i get this when i wake up and sit up fast. usually when the vessels are damged form ahving a cold
Where do you live, it could be tied with a change in humidity.
Beat me to it. I live in Virginia you see, and we generally have a humid climate here. So when I fly out to Colorado in order to visit some of my family about once every year or so, I have this same problem sometimes. Anyway, it probably is a change in humidity.
Also, I used to have nose bleeds fairly frequently when I was younger up to about a year ago. Went to the doctor's office because it was persistent and I'm pretty sure it's fairly normal. You sound like you don't have weak blood vessels in your nose, since you're surprised enough to make a thread, so it most likely is because of some other factor.
Your vessels may have been damaged from that flu. Don't touch your nose, or blow it too hard, as it may bleed again.
PROTIP: Apply pressure to the tissue on your nose when it bleeds!
PROTIP: Apply pressure to the tissue on your nose when it bleeds!
I thought you were supposed to pinch off the top of your nose? Like about 1/4-1/2 of an inch from the very top of your nose. I suppose either method may work, though do not just let your nose bleed straight out. I heard the blood could run down into your throat. No idea if this is completely true though.

I usually just pinch the fuck out of where it's bleeding or around there and that seems to work really well. But I don't think the blood will go down into your throat unless it's bleeding extremely profusely or unless you are tilting your head up, letting it.
My dick just grew furiously. Why?
That happens to me a lot, one time I woke up with blood all over my pillow from my nose. Probably just the air bro
Yesterday I was sitting around doing nothing and my nose starts bleeding. No current or recent diseases, no change in pressure, I was just sitting there.
I usually just stick a balled up tissue part in my nose.
This used to happen to me many times before. Don't worry, the bleeding should end in a while. If it doesn't, then there is obviously a problem.
My nose used to bleed loads. Trust me, it's nothing to worry about.
Swamp gas
Use it like warpaint and take a picture. Shit happens, use a styptic pencil.
Quit fapping
If you've had a cold/flu for the past week, you could've scratched your nose at some point while you were blowing it. For me, I always get nosebleeds when my cold is officially ending; I'll have at least 10 a day for a couple days and then I'll be feeling great again.

No way I can afford to miss more class... But I hope I'm not going to have like 19 more nosebleeds... I've never even had a nosebleed due to getting physically hit in the nose.
Naps? Lol. Not fall asleep is an option. Also I'm sure a doctor or even google will tell you the answer.
