now if they would remove/fix UPlay, I'd be very happy with Ubisoft again.
I don't mind uplay, it worked pretty well for me with Far Cry 3, and I like the system where getting achievements can get you little bonuses in game, like an extra mission or special weapon
What's wrong with Uplay?
might be biased from my side, but I've mostly only had issues with it. have had issues with getting Farcry 3 to work, Anno 2070, Splinter Cell: Conviction and most of my Ubisoft games. my biggest issues were back with SC: Conviction though, where co-op flat out refused to work, equipment and saves kept getting erased and so on. I do like UPlay's in-game interface though, and I didn't have any issues whatsoever with the newest Ghost Recon either so these might be issues of the past. gotta say I don't see much point in bundling it with Steam copies though
What's wrong with Uplay?
Unneeded bloat and breaks Steam Family Sharing.
I could do without Uplay, but the unlockables make it worth using.
I'd totally prefer not having to use Uplay, but since we're forced to use it, it's actually not super bad or extremely intrusive, so I am fine with it. It works.
